ITS SPETACULAR NEWS!
The First community-made, open source, map for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has reached Beta 2 for public testing.

Storyline:
This is not the first time the Strogg were here on Earth. A scout ship landed near what’s today the
remains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Strogg drones gathered vital intelligence about the activities
in the zone, but they were persecuted and annihilated. The Strogg mother ship sent a battalion to recover
that intelligence, stored in a data brain that the GDF discovered underground. The orders were:
-Retrieve the Data Brain and transmit it through the communication hub at any cost-
Updates:
A big variety of gameplay changes:
- Reduced hack time on first objective.
- Added a Cyclops (Walker, Goliath) at the begining of the map.
- Heavy vehicles now deploys on second objective (destroy the barricade).
- Strogg start the match near the construction site and the first forward spawn, with 2 hogs.
- Strogg first forward spawn now gives icarus and hogs.
- New entrance to the construction site.
- Strogg can enter the construction site more protected, less visible to GDF.
- The strogg starts the carryable objective (third objective) in the slum block, on the city.
- The barricade explosion break the fence over it, making a access to the subway tunnel.
- Increased the avaliable deployable area.
- Added discret deploy hints on the command map.
- Changed the position and the layout of the University.
- Added a bridge connecting the GDF Base (Fort) to the University.
- Removed the University floors above second floor.
A big variety of performance optimizations:
- Structures cast simple Shadows.
- Number of Batches reduced all over the map.
- Map compiled with Optmized Shadows 2.
- Optimized portals.
- LOD optimization.
- Reduced the number of triangles on the City and other areas.
Others:
- Changed atmosphere.
- Added trash containers and public light on the city.
- Retextured the University.

- Blow the Fence to gain better access to the Site
- Destroy de Subway Barricade
- Capture the forward Spawn at the City

- Trasmit the DataBrain from the console inside the University
GDF side:
- Don’t let the Strogg hack the Generator Console
- Defend the Subway Barricade
- Protect the DataBrain Room at the Shopping Center
- Don’t let the Strogg transmit the DataBrain

How to install:
Uncompress the .zip file into <ETQW install dir>/base folder
Start the game
Enjoy the map off-line and on-line
If you have ETQWPro, you will only need the .pk4 file
