Reinstall on new comp

I’ve been away from the game for a coupla years and thought I’d install it on my new comp. I am unable to authenticate my old nym nor create a new one. Unable to connect to server. Any ideas on a solution?

I think if you still have your game key you can retrieve old accounts with that.

You don’t even need the cd key for that, name + password should do the trick :slight_smile: .

I’ve got all the stuff written down: CD Key, nym, password. Problem is I’m not connecting to the server to authenticate. Is this server still up?

Anybody know what ports are used for ETQW? I’m guessing I may have to make exceptions for the router.

maybe try installing to the latest version first, it might need to have the latest version?

When I start the game I get the message that it’s unable to get the Update Server.

Yea you need to get 1.0-1.5 patch. Find it on this website

you need the the 1.5 update… as stated, you can find it, somewhere on this site, or you can google it…

i reformatted over the weekend… server side wouldnt update either… had to manually download and install the update before i could log into my account…

and PB is no longer supporting the game… so you may get kicked… if so follow the link below and follow the instructions…

I’m having this problem after a re-install. It’s all updated and whatnot, I’m entering my details and first it comes up with “Cancelled” then “Unknown error”
