Yeah I would like a refund considering they baited us in to buying him then made him useless but I know what I’ll be confronted with. ‘its beta, you should expect changes’. Yes that’s true but surely the balancing should have happened before it was publicly released?

From what I hear he was in the game before, but he was removed because they could not figure out how to balance him. So yeah. He is still viable, but you need to be a bit more careful and maybe switch him out for Fragger.

Yeah I have fragger in all the time and considering his lmg got a buff he’s even more viable. Phantom on the other hand was the perfect bait and switch from splash damage. Tbh I feel robbed, I won’t be buying any other new merc on release that for sure.

I wouldn’t mind a nerf, but this melee system change, + making him weaker in every aspect is not up. I demand a refund.

Phantom was a gamble for sure, tbh you should have known this. They had trouble balancing him in the past and from day 1 people were calling him OP. It was obvious he was going to get nerfed. And if they had trouble balancing him before, twice it seems. It was a safe bet the nerf may have caused problems too. The other mercs will be way more balanced on release. Trust me, you don’t wanna miss Red Eye, he looks fun as balls.

Yeah I knew he would get nerfed but surely after a closed alpha and beta they would have enough data to adjust him accordingly? I will ask support about a credit refund although I paid with really money but I’ll be hit by a brick wall which isn’t nice but hey, you win some you lose some. Like I said previously though, I won’t be spending anymore cash on mercs because I feel like I’ve been cheated, it’s only a few £ but trust is priceless.

Phantom is tricky, as we see. The nerf was incoming, It was a bit much honestly (I do expect a small buff). But you had plenty of time to jump outta the way, but you jumped into the tracks.

The patch better be out real fucking soon, cause this is complete bullshit. The game has been reduced to utter shit, honestly they created more issues then solved. Simply pathetic, I was expecting.more from SD, what a failure.

As of right now he has no role at all. He sucks at killing, the thing he once exceled in, now SD decided to listen to the noobs and nerf him to hell, real smart. SD need to address their other issues like stickies disappearing and lock on fletcher.

Sorry, but with his cloak he was a 190ish hp merc sprinting at people pretty quickly while being harder to see and hit. Add to that his easy r2 r1 combo and he was broken. They could have nerfed the katana damage but instead just made it require more skill to use. It was too easy to hit with before, and he took little skill. The melee nerf was a good fix. He still can get the drop on and ambush most people if played intelligently, it is just no longer an “I win ezpz” situation.

You have to understand that I feel cheated, they nuked phantom, destroyed the melee system and made my gold phantom kek10/katana.loadout completely useless. Its just wrong.

If you want an easy & invincible katana warrior, try Dynasty warrior or Devil may cry instead perhaps, SD games always needed a little effort to be successfuly played. Such an easy character does not have his place in this game imho.
