Potayto potahto… in the end it all comes down to how much salt Loki rubs into the wound.
Cudos on your Loki, troublemaker grin in that photo through and through.

We’ve had very few requests actually, I was surprised. Not sure you know that many people

I paid and I don’t want a refund.
Company reps change. Steam was crap when it came out, Blizzard used to make original games and not take themselves too seriously… Japan used to make cheap ****ty electronics… things change.
i just sent a request, ney! demanded SD take some money off me for this game. i feel so guilty.
There are ways…

I respect that change causes anxiety, and I want to be clear for the couple of you that mentioned wanting money back - you don’t need any justification to exit Inner Circle… I am as obsessed with making you happy as I am avoiding your unhappiness - email me directly and I will personally arrange your refund - locki@splashdamage.com. I don’t even mind if your complain is unjust - I just want you to be happy.
For those that stick with it, we have GREAT things planned. We’re now investing much more, for much longer, than we had originally planned.[/QUOTE]
I thought about this over many visits to the toilet bowl. I have decided to stay because of my faith in SD. Sadly, until we see a shop, we will not know if this game will be P2W or not, hopefully they get one up soon so we can test and see the direction they want to take it.
I paid and I’m not asking for a refund. I paid to be part of this process, not for the game itself, although “real life” is limiting my time quite severely atm.
I paid as well, but seen the fact that I’ve had fun in W:ET for over 5 years, and because I have fate in SD I’m not planning to ask for a refund nevertheless how this game turns out.
I won’t ask for a refund either. First the game can still become very good, and second, even if not, I take it as a late support for years of completly free fun with W:et.

<3 sooooo much
Didn’t you just say you would see people in game? Or are you just saying you have so much love for Locki’s kindness?

You know, Blizzard actually never really made ‘original games’ at least if you mean innotivative titles. They usually took existing ideas but just polished it up. Something they still do. Starcraft II is a really good game, Diablo 3 is also really good, but not as good as D2.
With respect, I don’t want to be picky but… after recent changes, I feel on unstable ground. I don’t want to risk it anymore.
I’m sorry for what happen to this game. I really wished to see another succesfull game that was Wolfenstein Enemy Territory… but the changes were made.
It shouldn’t be F2P to be honest, you could just make adjustments and make it more like Battlefield styled game. 5 Classes + customization.
People will hate me now but I’m honest right now. Game could have a chance IF It wouldn’t be F2P.
I sent a request yesterday. Really love SD but I feel like this is not going to be the new ET i’d like it to be.
See you
I feel somewhat bad making a post, and then Locki offering refunds in response to it. For what it is worth, as much as I disagree with the roadmap that has been in place so far I still have faith, hoping perhaps that you just approach your business tactics in unorthodox ways. I mean no disrespect, I am simply saying I am not requesting my 320$ back, I am hoping that this new current “Extraction road map” is the direction that I originally signed up for it to be.
i will not be asking for a refund. i personally enjoy this game quite a bit, and i feel like im in the minority that realizes that this is an alpha and i enjoy being part of the changes. also im a load mouth asshole (excuse the language) and want my opinion heard in the development. i havent had a good comp game in a very long time and i feel like this has all the makings to becoming a very good one.
They did in terms of gameplay. Remember Warcraft was part of the top variant styles of RTSing back in the days of C&C, Total Annihilation, Age of Whatever. At least the original Blizzard guys were well aware that their success came from parodising Games Workshop IPs… now look what they’ve become; pop culture infected, pand-ewok loving nu-nerds that churn out extremely pretty rehashings of what, essentially, the original guys made WITH a heavy emphasis on allowing gold farming and other grind elements where they can get away with it (and I daresay if they tried forcing that into SC2 you would have seen a real outbreak of civil disorder in Korea). Their code integrity is a pale shadow of what it used to be too… you used to be able to count on Blizzard games to run solid for most people on release, now everything they do is broken on day 1, needs constant patching because they’ve allowed a culture of haxing and griefing to not only fester but flourish.
They are a shamelessly living off the incredibly good rep the original Blizzard folk established while doing absolutely nothing to live up to it (art/animation department excluded).
Though I suppose one thing to give Nu-Blizzard credit for… paving the way for a community of degenerate hackers, farmers and griefers to feel like they have a place they “belong” in the world of gaming, and the world at large.
… but I digress.

Starcraft: Broodwar has to this day a ton of gamelay bugs, terrible pathing etc. You’re glorifying the old days of Blizzard too much. Look at the patch notes of WC3 and SC: Broodwar and you’ll realize that those games had huge issues at launch too. But those are things you easily forget after time. But alas, going a bit off topic here so I’ll stop about that here
