Same here on the Dreiss front haven’t tested it sofar but they basically reversed it to the stresstest stats.
As for Redeye, my first impressions I love him.
Spam will be less annoying than phantom, simply because Redeyes keep themself busy.
They counter each others quite nicely. See smoke use IR to give your team back the vision. See Redeye midrange sniping? let the midrange sniping duell begin.
Smoke is great not too OP and nice to lay down some cover to help move the EV past a sniper. Haven’t seen explosive countering it yet so can’t comment.
The IR goggles on their own are very usefull aswell. They have a slight spotting delay and seem to struggle marking targets, when they are half conceiled behind cover. But its great, see an enemy flanking? Hit IR to give your team heads up, I like.
One thing to notice only time they get disabled seems to be if you hit the full cooldown. So even if it shows some cooldown, you can activate them for another short peak/snitch.
Weapons, only default loadout.
Grandeur, I suck with it. It starts to loose accuracy similar to the Dreiss, after shot 3 it seemed.
But when you finally land those shots it is very satisfying (even if its only bodyshots).
Lastly the khukri, first impression it rocks.
It has a different swing pattern compared to the knifes. And I managed hit with the heavy swing, that would have been misses, otherwise. The damage is there, haven’t checked what it deals, but one heavy swing was enough (could be wounded tho).
Only thing is and this will propably piss off quite a few. The fast swing has zero reach. I mean zero, you can’t finish someone standing. You gotta kneel and aim carefully, because the range is so short, you can even miss kneeling. Heavy swing has more reach tho, so finishing with heavy is an option.
So thats my first impression for now. Not even gonna give a OP/UP guess, just gonna enjoy him for now.
