recent fps drop

So recently for some reason, my fps has dropped and stayed that way in the past few days. I thought I had done something so I rechecked, went over history, over apps. Nothing could’ve changed it. It was unbearable so I saved my configs and factory reset my pc. Copied my configs back the way they were and it is still the same. I dont get it. With the thunder concussion nerfs, bushwacker turrent nerf, and now sudden performance nerf? WHats going on? Last week I had solid 300fps in menu and 100 in game. Now I dropped down to 140 in menu and 65 in game. Next time SD, tell us.

You’re not alone dude. The last 2-3 days in particular have been cancer. I’m not entirely sure how it’s possible since there has been no updates, so I can only assume it’s server related?

The problem is that the fps drop is now constant. They are not spikes. If that has to do with server, which I highly doubt, shouldn’t SD have told us. Seriously, either twitch stream, youtube video, forum post or something!

tell you what ? there was no update, therefore NOTHING SD could tell you. Nexon runs the servers, ask them why the servers are poo

I believe it has something to do with the server. On your right mid screen, there is a sign of connection. Normally it should not appear, but sometimes it will appear as yellow or red. When it is yellow color, you would not feel much difference. However, when it becomes red, you will start to see your ping is good yet your game is lagging. I have asked everyone in the server if that’s just me or not, and everyone confirmed that it is server’s problem, because of everyone is lagging like crazy with normal or low ping.

A few of my mates who also never get FPS issues are all having FPS issues as well. It can’t be coincidence we’re all experiencing them at the same time. Another friend of mine tonight was getting like 60fps on Chapel and he usually sits well over 150+

@bushyg can confirm he was having issues as well.

Exactly. Alot of people dont check their fps regularly and just reply as if nothing is wrong. Something is up, and they are not spikes, but constant fps drop. It stays low.

My game started having mysterious 5+ second freezes again yesterday after like a month being free from that torment. A friend also confirmed having similar performance issues, game was fine for both of us before that. Something weird is going on.

I’m not a tech wiz but I know that we have most of the games assets on the harddrive. Could you tell me how a bad server connection affects the FPS?
