since we are talking about nitwit admins, let’s also turn this around a little.

what about players that want to argue with every little rule on a server.

on my server i have 1 hard and fast rule, No spawn killing (topic has already been beat to death), and a gentleman(he was not engaged in it and was also on my team) was on the server who wanted to argue about spawn killing after a couple of guys were doing the shot you in the back spawn killing thing.

so why do people want to argue with the server rules? if you don’t like the environmet, well, there are other servers…

i mean when i am pubbing around, if i don’t like the server that i might join, i just leave.

What you LEFT OUT is the part where I was going to be kicked ANYWAYS for going out the backdoor, you fuckin moron.

I never complained to the board about how I was kicked for putting a few shots of the K43 into the Admin’s head… I simply stated that as personal satisfaction, a little gift before I left the server forever. And no, one of my clan buddies is actually in the same room as me, as we’re roomates in college and he most certainly did not turn into Troll Mode.

My clan has much respect for what’s going on in other servers and we don’t troll anybody. The only reason I turned into an asshole is because I was going to be kicked for playing the way I wanted to, not how everyone else wanted me to.

I’d like to know how I was “disrespecting” him by going out the back door. There’s no server rule that says “going out back will warrant you a kick.”

What are you the leader of the Admins Are Gods Association? I’ll tell you one thing, I’m an admin for a server and I don’t pay… what guy is paying to provide all of you with this free service? Certainly not me, and I have full power. I mean sure… we do have somebody in our clan who runs/pays for the server but he doesn’t kick people for going out the back door.

And yes, I understand that people can do whatever they want with THEIR servers… but that doesn’t mean we have to agree with them. So take your AAGA and shove it.

I am sure of your post that you are a really mature person seeing that you are flaming me for no reason! If this is the only way you can conduct a “conversation” then I need not bother.

The admin wasn’t reasonable if he kicked your clanmates for just going outside the backdoor, I’ll give you that. Personally I think the best way to defend the back is by controling the CP area, but that’s beside the point now.

My comment about disrespecting admins is about your saying that the reason you are always kicked is because of that. So what I am saying that kicking you is the most likely conclusion for disrespecting the admin (or any other player for that matter).

Again, you don’t like a server or how it is run then go play on your server.

I don’t remember saying that’s how I’m always kicked… in fact… the reason I was being kicked in the first place was for going out the back door. NOT disrespecting him.

It was AFTER he was telling me I was going to be kicked for going out the backdoor that I disrespected him… Don’t know why this is so hard to follow.

And again… I didn’t like how the server was run so I LEFT (after tk’ing him).

I needed to play on the server FIRST and experience how it was RUN before I could make any judgement, which I did… but I figured at the same time in deciding never to play there again I’d post a new topic for silly reasons to kick people…

LoL, everyone got kicked for different reason, but most likely that you “upset” the admin/referee. Got kicked/banned when I mass kill a bunch of freshly spawned axis with a panzer @ chigc. I never go back even when they lifted the ban.

I haven’t run a wolf server for a while, but I run a Q3 server now and again. I’ve only a couple hard and fast rules and I give people 3 warnings when I see them not following them. Basically amounts to keep the foul language to a minimum, no spamming and be a good sport if you when or lose. They’re really not hard rules to follow. And since it’s my server in my house on my fiber optic connection I have no hesitations banning people’s IP’s when they get flagrant.

I agree, some admins go over the top and get a major God complex. Most people don’t know I’m the admin when I play on my server, all they notice is the 0 ping and say “Dude you must live real close to the server.”

Oh well to each his own, I guess. I’ve been kicked for ‘cheating’ while being a sniper on a wolf server that was running PB (which is bad, but better than nothing), simply because I’m used to doing snap shots without waiting for the rifle to settle down. :beer:

I run my own server and the only things I don’t tolerate are spamming the spawn with arty or any of the heavy weapons and teamkilling. I’ll also shuffle it up if people REFUSE to switch sides when it’s REALLY uneven.

I’ve pissed off a few who think it’s their right to spam the spawn the entire game and they’ve ended up banned, but for the most part people are happy. I’ve actually had peeps thank me for bein a good admin when a camp’s up and their headin out. I don’t kick n00bs for playin really dumb even if they lose the match for my team, but I’ll vote yes if someone brings up the vote.

Some servers have crazy rules that the admins uphold with kick/ban and quite frankly it’s their right if they’re payin for it. Go someplace else. . there are TONS of servers out there.

no argument. .I think the general point we were tryin to make was instead of even given em shit (like the tkill) which REALLY satisfies them and makes them feel THAT MUCH better about themselves when they kick or ban ya just say “I’m gonna elsewhere, I realize it’s your server, your rules, but this is ghey.”

They’ll either cut the shit or steer their server right into 0’s all the time
