If some people have too many disconnect, maybe they shouldn’t play ranked? And I don’t think there is so many technical disconnect… My five lasts matches :
- WON (5v4)
- WON (5v3)
- WON (5v4)
- LOST (4v5)
- LOST (4v5)
Then what’s the meaning of this current Ranked? Why are we supposed to play it as it’s totally bullsh*t?
If there were 1 week ranked ban the firsts 2 disconnects and then perm ranked ban, I know lots of players who will play Ranked again. Currently Ranked if for people who don’t care about Ranked. This is the worse possible situation.
Maybe if you had read beyond my first point and payed attention to the rest of my comment it would help.
I’m suggesting rank be based on personal performance so leavers no longer ruin matches and cause people to rank/derank because of it, and people who might experience issues can still play ranked without fear of harming their team.
Like I said, no matter how much you punish people, you’ll never stop leavers. Ever notice how, despite the fact that DB permanently bans all cheaters on first offense, there are still new cheaters popping up all the time? And they still have the potential to ruin matches? All banning people for a week on a first offense, and permanently on a second offense does is significantly lower the amount of people who can play ranked.
- Power randomly went out? No, fuck you, no ranked for a week.
- Unexpected family emergency 6 days later? No, fuck you, banned forever.
Ranked’s playerbase is already extremely small. Banning someone for a week because of something out of their control is harmful enough, permanently banning them would probably be the death of it. Not like most players would even feel like coming back to ranked after a week ban anyways.
You can’t stop leavers. All you can do is make it so leavers don’t ruin a match.
