Ranked : Leavers MUST be banned

I’m not bronze, I’m Silver Agent (Begin2013), I was Silver Master, but as Ranked is broken… Silver Agent => Silver Master => Bronze Master => Silver Agent. Even my lvl 105 friend is back to silver (from gold). Then he stop until they fix that sh*t. That’s why there is few players now, only leavers / low levels remains. I’m level 75 with 950h in-game, then I know the game and I know what I’m talking about…

And now uninstalling the game. SD is unable to keep their “old” players because their game sucks balls. When you do a multiplayer game, the minimum requirement is to have a working multiplayer. But both Ranked and CMM are broken and no news about 8v8 servers comeback. Their “weapon skins” won’t change anything to this!

how does stop playing the game going to make things better? Don’t you see that since they took over the game and hired a shitton of people, the game got much better? they are doing it the right way: they tidied up the whole game, implemented measures to observe the game and from there they can improve and tune the game.

Kids always expect that when they cry around that stuff gets fixed immediately…

Why don’t you make a little break, as it got to you quite hard. You shouldn’t take this so serious and have a look at it in a few weeks.

And in case you don’t give a shit about what I said above:
I don’t know a game where solo queue for ranked is enjoyable and fair at all times. I tried it in overwatch and dota2. IT IS A FUCKING HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BECAUSE PEOPLE!
Try queuing with a friend, it makes a huge difference.

The good time I got in that game was on 7v7 and 8v8 servers, but now they are gone. CMM is as broken as Ranked.

Really? Except the addition of 3 new maps (Dome, Dockyard and Vault), the game isn’t better now than 2 years ago. In fact, the game was better 2 years ago!:

  • Trading 3 loadout cards for an higher one was better than the current system.
  • 8v8 and 7v7 servers was better than CMM (why hiding the player level?). Low level and high level people had specialized servers. Less time wasted in queue. Only grouping with friends was missing.
  • The game was better without the latest Mercs (especially Javelin and Fantom).
  • The addition of Execution was useless, just another waste of time and failure.
  • The new UI is fine, but the old one was fine too.
  • Most of the changes are useless/minor, don’t fix the main issues, but add more of them.
  • Terminal is one of my fav maps, I’m sad they are going to change it.

That’s enough reasons for me to uninstall the game now (yesterday in fact).

You do realize it will be horrible right?
I’ll be fine with csgo’s system, but instantly 1 week is WAY too harsh. Even 24 hours for your first DC is just harsh and will do more harm than good.
Not every leaver is a rage quitter. Sometimes the game kicks you and you don’t know why, sometimes your internet or electricity crashes (which will now happen a lot more often because winter weather and stuff), or maybe somebody just had something personal so they had to leave. You shouldn’t be punished so harshly for just leaving once or twice.

Don’t forget there is already a ranked temp ban for leavers, it’s just way too short to prevent trolls/leavers to play Ranked.

But with a longer ban, at least only “serious” people will play Ranked, and the others CMM, as expected. Currently Ranked is same than CMM, or even worse.

Personally I don’t think it will be horrible to extend ban duration but way better. Currently Ranked isn’t Ranked but Trolls-land, and CMM Noobs-land.

As someone already said, a minimum requirement of level 30 to play Ranked is a good solution too, but too late for this season. While extending ban duration is super easy to do. Maybe one week is too much, then SD could extend it to 24h, and see if it’s enough or need to be extended again by 24h until they find the right duration to make the game interesting again.

Anyway, months after months Dirtybomb loose its player base, then if nothing is done the game will be very soon totally dead or only newbies/trolls will remains.

The goal isn’t to eliminate them but to limit their toxicity on the game. Currently they make the game totally sh*ty! Then people, as me, leave the game (as we have no way to play only with/against people lvl 30-300).

If you queue up with 2-3 friends, that is almost the full team :open_mouth:
With a “squad” of 3 players you can fill all important roles on the team, and work together, covering each other.
On top of this, yin a party you can pre-define roles - unless you are all proxy mains, everyone can play at his/her most comfortable position. Also, since you don’t have to fit multiple classes in your squad, you can take “specialists” instead of “all-rounders”, because you know that you will have a good medic/engineer/assault/whatever your friends play on your team.
For example you can take Aura on defense, and Sawpapa on offense, or Turtle on def, Fletcher on atk

At this point I’d say if you still get rekt so hard that the rest of your team ragequits, it is your fault. And even then, if your team has new players, most likely the enemy team has them as well. In silver ranks soloq having no medic on a team is not uncommon, so you should be more than capable of winning 4v5 unless there is a party on the enemy team as well.

Sorry for being off topic, I don’t deny that playing 4v5 sucks. I’m all for harsher punishments, BUT the servers are very unstable at the moment. You can’t ban someone because the game started 4v5.

If the problem persists and you are always a part of it, then you should consider thinking about what you do wrong or what you could do better. Honestly, if I had 2 or even just 1 guy in my team I could communicate with, I am pretty confident that we would be able to carry hard enough 4vs5.

    I really enjoyed that system as well. It was very awarding and cool to progress towards the first cobalt card. But you and me know that they are working at a new system at this moment.

    there is more to that than simply having a quick join option for a group of friends. It is not unusual to assume, that a group of friends can communicate and are generally better than each individual alone.
    So how about the experience of the other players who are not in a group? Especially casual play is for everybody - newbs and vets, potatos and pros.
    And the player level was hidden because people thought it meant skill, where it actually just means playtime. can give you a reference, if you want.

    We call that opinions, its something everyone has - like assholes.

    You might not consider the fact that you are finally not only customer but also tester of this game. The whole idea of adding and removing features is to test them and see how it works. For example CMM: How could they gather enough data, if they didn’t remove the server browser option? And then why did they leave objective on in certain regions? Could it be to see, how much of a drawback of connection you take into account to not play via CMM?

All this features just take time and especially - resources! Keep in mind, that they did not have enough resources before splitting with nexon. They hired a ton and are keep hiring in fact.

That’s enough reasons for me to uninstall the game now (yesterday in fact).

The D*cks are leavers in Ranked, not people who give feedback about why they can’t play anymore with the current broken state of the game.

About levels, take a team of players lvl 5-10 and another one with lvl 50-70 players. Good luck to the team 5-10 to win the match! They will just cry to be spawn killed in Terminal and will ask to change the map…
Experience isn’t the whole Skill, but it’s a big part of it.
