Raise the MIN LVL for Ranked

Hi guys.
Aren’t you pissed like me when you get some mates with free mercs and iron cards? In Ranked… Guys with about 50 Steam hours(not in game -_-) who still don’t know the game or about ff and killing you few times… Spamming mines near you, PLAYING VASSILI(full match vassiling), quitting from match and other shits . Got in 2 matches few zombies as teammates,just push&die , meat shied for enemies and nothing more.
I don’t know if the min lvl is still 7 like used to be but pls make it 15 or 20. Or just make a max ranked server for newbies. Something like min 7 - max 20

I want to enjoy the game,and in ranked there is some fun but losing because you have newbies in team is not fun at all.
I don’t want to quit playing ranked once I put my hands on that 2k Fragger :slight_smile:

P.s I don’t mind waiting some minute for a more balanced match xD

Should be level 30 or so like OW…should help fight getting complete newbs and smurfs.

As much as I really wish they’d raise it, SD has already said they won’t. I don’t remember the reason they gave, but it kinda makes sense when you consider just how few people actually reach level 10 in this game.

If you’re willing to queue for a few hours to get an unbalanced game, then by all means push for this change.
I for one am against it, my queue times are already 2+ hours.

Do you actually find matches? If the other guy is unranked, then you can’t find matches. You’re not supposed to be able to queue with unranked when your rank is at gold or higher iirc.

We’re both Cobalt 2. And no, we don’t find matches. We got our rank on day 1, and have yet to find a game since.

This is getting ridiculous now. Sure, we’re a 5 stack of Cobalts, but there has to be a point in the queuing process where it simply puts us up against the first 5 people it finds. I have been watching people on my friends list go in and out of Ranked games throughout our queue.

@Melinder: The matchmaking algorithms likely won’t even allow it if you’ve already been queued for 3 hours. I’d just wait a week or so before trying again. A lot of people are probably holding out for a while due to the whole augment issue as well. Good luck on getting that gorgeous Elite rank!

We went our separate ways, I made a two stack, and found a game in about 50 minutes. 5 minutes in, 4 people randomly dropped from the server (including my mate), and were unable to rejoin. Consequently, he lost 50% of ranked progression, and received a nasty matchmaking penalty, despite me winning the match. What a game.

@Melinder That deserves a wtf button push.
This is part of why I’m seriously disliking ranked right now. The amount of disconnects and unallowed re-entry doesn’t even make sense. I’ve had it happen to me twice this season already, and two of my friends each had it once as well.

I’ve never been cobalt?

Try being lower? Where you need to deal with shoddy players who only care about the cases and don’t care about winning as long as they don’t have to put forth any effort…or dealing with smurfs who ruin matches to help their friends get easy points.

You know…just like in the real world the people on the top don’t have to deal with the numerous problems the average person does.

I’m sick and tired of losing half or more of my matches to the point where I’m lowered down to bronze purgatory where I can never break free because of the infinite supply of care-lesses and smurfs.

I definitely agree that the draw of skins results in a toss up between people who care about winning and being competitive and those who only want shiny trophies to show off. Is it really that bad at the bronze ranks, though? I’ve never been placed below low/mid silver in any season. Granted, highest I’ve attained is high gold ‘cause I only solo queue and the low silvers didn’t feel all that bad at all in my experience. Everything felt reasonably balanced to me in every season if we exclude the quitters. I think which region people are playin’ out of is a big factor too. Idk.
