RAD Around The World CUP

(Ciakgb) #141

Ooof, try playing Mitsid when he’s pissed off. I looked at his first move and with all the toons and deployables, his entire side of the market zone was blue. It looked like the Spanish Armada!

Luckily that makes me Admiral Nelson:) and I have HMS Surprise on my side…and Patrick O’Brien fans out there? “Never mind maneuvers, Aubrey, always go right at them!”

Seriously, counting 2uav, he has seven guys and I have four. Maybe the more appropriate military analogy is Custer’s Last Stand!

(Paul) #142

Sorry guys for being afk - was on vacation and had less time to check around than expected. Did I miss anything important?

(Shiek93) #143

Well, there are only four players left, Mitsd, Ciakgb, (lower) and Kinonez21 and El-Co on the upper bracket, their is the issue of no predetermined maps on the lower bracket finals, and Mitsid and Ciakgb had an issue over who went first on Favela, now they are on their second match, resulting in a 1-0 in Ciakgb favor, we have no news about the Kin-El-Co match, just that kin is sending about a turn per day do to semestrals, also Sandman has not accepted Mitsid’s scores (their are pictures that prove mitsid won) We would all like for you to edit if posible, Kin beat Stryzilla, and El-co beat Ranger 2-1 they would also like you to edit those scores, If I let anything out feel free to add

Great summery

(Ciakgb) #145

…and Mitsid agreed he has second move at Favella, if necessary.

(Mitsid) #146

I agreed that we proceed your way but I still find your advantage unfair. My reasons can be found at the cup forum. And I would like to hear something from Paul before we start the Favela match.

(Ciakgb) #147

This is your quote, copied from trackbase:

“Favela should be our 3rd match. I will accept your challenge when finisf train station and market. You will go first dont worry :)”

Should I worry?

Should I worry?
If Paul confirms your interpretation of the rules you should not. But you also wrote “I do not want a tainted win”. Or do you want it now?

(Ciakgb) #149

Look man the strategic situation dictates the tactics I use in the actual games. What you are reopening, sir, is the proverbial can of worms.

(Mitsid) #150
Look man the strategic situation dictates the tactics I use in the actual games. What you are reopening, sir, is the proverbial can of worms.
Listen man, I really do not understand what are you talking about? You want a win at any cost or a fair play?

(Ciakgb) #151

Your the one hoping for a mid match rule reversal…why your at it, our Market match is starting to look drawish. Say you win (going second) at Favella, what is the tiebreaker map?

(Mitsid) #152

If I win, the only thing I ask from you that we hear something from Paul and then proceed.

(Ciakgb) #153

If prior experience means anything, Paul appears to prefer us to work things out, which we did!

Any change in that agreement would color how I would play my next move. I have NOT opened your last move, but it appeared when I last left the game that it was at a crossroads. By conceding to your last post, I would be in fact admitting that the terms of the final match are in doubt, which in my mind (and in yours until a few hours ago) are settled.

May be you take it all too serious. Ok, I was wrong that I raised this issue again. Forget it. I ONCE AGAIN CONFIRM THAT I WILL GO 2ND IN FAVELA. CASE CLOSED.

(Sandman77) #155

Well rules states who challenges goes first… If I for instant go first with my Daves I have an advantage, if not I sometimes loose cause of it.

Favela is a awesome map, if one know he goes 2nd one can plan accordingly…

Anyways its a game, play and have fun. Ive played you both and to be honest none of you are better then the other it is all about tactics and that doesnt matter much who begins first in my eyes…

(Ciakgb) #156

I definitely concede I take all this way too seriously…if everyone wants we can scrap this, and start a mini tourney with us four with a totally new set up, rules, etc.

(Paul) #157

So for now we can just wait who wins the second map and then start debating again am I correct?

(Mitsid) #158

No, I dont want to argue with ciakgb anymore. Let it be his way. But for the next cup please take the Favela issue into consideration.

(Sandman77) #159

Mitsid

Fair play man! Thumbs up!

(Shiek93) #160

Paul what about the predetermined map issue? This match is getting closer while we speak!
