starting the games
RAD Around The World CUP
Ranger and I started, he went first at park square and old town, I at beach. He is rushing at old town, I’m team chump. A snippy snipe fest at park.
Sorry guys, had no other option than to force this match for a win for you due to the amount of time it’s taking.
El-CO, Please start your match against mitsid asap.
ciakgb-Kinonez21, you guys finished yet?
While playing with Mitsid, I have finished all three games with Ranger, and fortunately won by 2-1. It will be good (for me) if you can change the score. Thanks.
Probably going to be WWIII with Mitsid. I sent first moves at two maps, and now he wants to cherrypick which move he’ll accept, then try to renegotiate the other games.
A lot of players have hit me with two first moves in this tourney, I had to beat ranger that way. I know the tourney as constructed is deeply flawed, but we are all playing in the same sandbox.
Look I think Mitsid is plenty good to win anyway, lets just wrap this up and then we can tinker with future arrangements.
Of course it is settled. We both are old forum members and have respect for each other. Anyway the Favela issue should be subject to discussion after the cup. Ciakgb, in your opinion how this problem should be resolved in the next cup?
The simplest way would be to play both sides of a map.
Random maps is my favorite solution but it has honor system issues.
You could set a smaller squad cap for the first mover at Favella.
You could exclude Favella and old town. (Not really a fan of this).
You could not put Favella in like every round:)
If you look back (don’t bother, trust me) i raised the who-goes first issues ages ago. Paul came down with kind of a law-of-the-jungle ruling where it was sort of a jump ball; not the most elegant solution but it added a game within the game in terms of challenges. You HAD to game the map selection or you didn’t have a chance.
Ps the other way is the chess way–white wins just over 60% in tourney chess. This is just basically accepted, in fact a lot of players play black to draw. The occurrence of white/black is evened out over the course of the tourney, but not individual opponents.
Rigs! Rigs! Rigs! Jerrrrrrrrrr-ry Rigs!
Oh wait, he’s not in the tournament, but he’s still my favorite.
(Sorry, i couldn’t resist)
I predict El-Co beats Mitsid in a split with each match taking 20-30 turns. Big props to both.
Mitsy was my pre tourney pick. Just so the oddmakers know, I took game one at train against Sir Mitsid with all Meagan’s in seven moves.
There was some ferocious play, literally all over the map. I got down 1080 potential damage in the form of 12 mines, his whole squad’s HP was 1050.
He played for me to make a mistake, which somehow I didn’t.
This was a one off strat for Mitsid, I lost every training match I played with it (Crozz, strychilla,Jerry, and Sandman ate me alive). I’m glad I went with my instincts and win or lose stayed true to my style of play.
Plenty of game left, going to exhale Mits and then I’ll accept your challenge.

Not so many people use them and therefore I had no practice playing against megan squard after the update. Only during the match with you I realized that they really changed much in the way the mines work now. But it was too late
P.S. still waiting for your move at the market.

Hahaha nice dude! I am rooting for Ciakgb and El-Co (they were the ones who beat me up the most) although, Kin is the only undefeated… I recently beat him (Thing that had never happend before) his level has gone down during these past two weeks, also taking longer turns… As for Mitsid, never played against him
