While there is a lull in the action, I thought I’d catch people up on the Mitsid match. I apologize for my total lack of screenshots, but action was fast and furious. I’d say we played, I don’t know, over a hundred moves.
I was thinking when I made the move it was the move of the match, but it turned out to be Mitsid’s counter that most impressed me. I moved two meagans with knives a full 12 squares to pin his madame to the wall (no ghost). She had no where to go, her two fryer shots at one square weren’t going to kill either of meagans. Game, set, match, I thought.
But Mitsid brought his commander for an impossible 10 square arty strike–on his own Madame!!! The resultant blast knocked back both my meagans and allowed the madame to roam free, in fact she lived till my take n hold registered and was never killed.
Awesome! Reminded me of that scene in Platoon where they are being overun:
“On my command, drop all remaining ordance on my POD, its a hell of a war…”
I learned this little trick from Supernge. This guy is really impressive.
