Just noticed dislike button is gone, don’t know when it was removed, but eh :confused:

(or is it only on my PC some bug?)

Its removed, I think it was because it caused people to hate and not reason. The dirty bomb rep also needs a change, should be positives, *likes, agrees, lols, insightful" minus " spam, abuse, disagree"

Yep, it was removed due to over abuse by some users. :slight_smile: Negative impacts on other users is never really good, so it was decided that the “dislike” would be removed, due to it having a -1 rep effect.

Disagree was kept however, due to it having no actual rep impact. If there is a particularly abusive post or spam post, people can use the flag button. This was also a small problem I found from before - sometimes people would just “dislike” abusive comments, rather than report. We only get notified about reports, not dislikes. So if people report abuse/spam more often now, it will help us out a lot!

RIP dislike. Thou shalt not be missed.

Agree, good change. Lots of people would use dislike when really they should’ve just hit disagree. Maybe they were ignorant of the difference, or maybe they wanted to cause the -1 rep because of the dislike for the person.
Either way it’s not needed when there’s a neutral disagree and a flag option.
