That’s not an advantage, but merely a compensation. Attacking team by definition has a lot of distance to cover - to get to the front line. Defending team spawns very close to objectives.

That’s precisely how I feel. It gets worse, because I apply this logic also to the class I play. If there’s no good engineer (95% of the time) I’m stuck playing engy.

well if i was an admin of a big pub serv with 64 ppl i would put axis respawn 45 and allies 20. that is already is a noticeable difference.
i play 8v8-12v12 and as engy

Well not in valley, I saw that strogg spawn a long ways from the contaminator.

I feel the teamplay like stuff is more oriented to the attackers. They have to do all the stuff. The defenders only have to stop them from doing it. Hence why axis is a team composed of only medics. Hey, if it stops them, then it works.

I’m now waiting for the custom maps that feature dual objectives. Strogg and GDF attacks.

But, when servers are slim to none, generally attackers always win.

If I was an admin of 64 people server I would seek a psychiatrist. But of course the numbers stop to matter so much when teams get bigger - mostly because with bigger teams most people wait for the artillery to stop, not for spawn.

bigger teams calls for bigger maps nuff said.

We want maps to be average with respect to the number of player, and if the QW stock maps give best gameplay with 24 players, then so be it.

Don’t make a server like Canada/Russia (huge map with no people) AND
Don’t make a server like Bangladesh (extremely tiny map with 100+ players.)

12v12 sounds way too low. 2-3 per tank. 1-2 per flying vehicle. if a tank and 2 flying things are being used that only leaves like 5-6 ppl on foot per team…thats horrible.

Just pretend everyone is a vehicle hog. They drive away without you. Therefore we have more infantry.

remember, the people in vehicles can still fight, they got big guns, and armour. It’s not like they’re out of the fight, and I like the idea of armour, less pucker factor

People advocating 32 or more players obviously are not upper level admins on servers. LOL! :lol:

nope, mostly people who play on 64 slot no FF, xpsave for only 2 years servers
