Seeing as all these nice mods are coming out I thought I’d have a go at a stupid one . Inspired by Stupid Quake for Q2 I present… Stupid Quake Wars! This is the result of a whole two evenings messing about.

All weapons have 100x the normal capacity and limit.

GDF
Assault rifle - increased rate of fire (ROF)
Grenade launcher - suicide stick. Launches 25 projectiles causing almost certain suicide but doing a load of damage (and lag) in the immediate area. Available at start.
GPMG - much greater damage and increased ROF.
Grenade - bigger splash area. Will kill turrets in one go. Increased throw rate.
knife - instant kill in one hit. Does fair bit of damage to veh and turrets
pistol - increased ROF. More damage
akimbo pistols - insane ROF and damage
rocket launcher - greatly increased ROF
tank shell - increased ROF & ‘volley mode’
shotgun - fully automatic.
sniper rifle - one hit kill of anything. Increased ROF (can’t get it to go as fast as railgun though…)
defibrillator - one hit. one kill.

STROGG
Blaster - gets turned into a low-powered blunder buss. Doesn’t overheat very quickly
Grenade - bigger splash area. Will kill turrets in one go. Increased throw rate.
Hyperblaster - increased ROF and less recoil
Lacerator - increased ROF, slow overheat
Rail chucker / aka plasma launcher - suicide stick (see Grenade launcher)
nailgun - autofire but less projectiles per shot. This weapon is not useless any more
obliterator - greatly increased ROF.
plasma cannon - increased ROF
railgun - crazy ROF. Instant kill of turrets and vehicles
spikes - instant kill in one hit. Does fair bit of damage to veh and turrets
stroy tool - one hit one kill.
stroybombs - increased ROF, no overheat.

Vehicles

Non air vehicles have around 5-10x speed increase
Most non-air vehicles have greatly increased primary ROF
Husky has short range Machine Gun mount
All vehicles can work in water.

Turrets

APTs and AVTs lock on much quicker and have greater ROF.
Artillery pieces have quicker lock on and deploy time. More projectiles in a shorter space of time (these are working a bit weird atm).

TODO:
‘Fix’ sniperrifle ROF
‘Fix’ cyclops walking speed
Increase player speed
Fix platypus movement
Make vehicles go above water
‘stupidity’ cvar to control the ROF, speed increase factor
Add some stupidity to the flyers
Fix fldops turret behaviour
Fix arcing of AVTs missiles
Fix turning of vehicles to be proportional to speed more
