can someone tell me if this is correct or not :-
i pre-order my copy of QW on 16/4 with play.com but had no code to have my name tag reserved. called them 24 hours later and was told would be delt with that day.
still no email today so called them again. was gtold this time that i wont get the code until the day before release date… surely that wrong ???
can someone help me ?
You should be able to get your name-registration pre-order keys right now.

I phoned them 3 times and got different answers each time, they have no feckin clue!
Take my advice and order at www.game.co.uk
Same price, and I got my code last Wednesday (they state they send them on a weekly basis).
yeah sorry i made the post and then looked in the forums 
just spoke to them for the 2nd time in 30 mins and this guy says they dont have the codes yet.

It’s total BS mate. I had emailed Activision Support as well - they told me the codes HAD been sent out to the retailers.
If you order at Game now, I reckon you’ll get your code this week.
I rang them up too many times, different story each time, and yes, one of their suggestions was that I’d get the code when the game is released!
When trying to get my pre-order code I rang five different EB stores, each gave a different story ranging from “um, I think the pre-order deal is you get $20 off” to “they don’t send us codes until a few days before release”.
Summary: Most people don’t know or care so long as they can get your money.
I pre ordered at EB games for $5, also about the name reservations, it says once you get the retail game your name will be fully reserved, this is after you have reserved your name with the pre order key
You guys are getting the shaft, pre-ordered my copy at Gamestop and i was able to reserve my game tag.
They sent me an email saying to save this email till i have the cd-key, once i have it i can claim my reserved tag.
I also received trading card and poster. 
Well, looks like what I have seen on the forum and other forums that most people who that bought the pre-orders online got screwed by not be able to register their tag names. Well, I suggest next time a word to the wise. That if you have a best buy near you go there their to get your pre-order. I had no problems with the pre-order registering my tag name with the pre-order I got from Best Buy. :evil:
I am just curious here. I have rang every Game that is close to me to see if they have the pre-order pack in. All didn’t have a clue about it. Has anyone pre-ordered the game, in store, at any Game? And has anyone pre-ordered over the net, from Game, and received the whole pre-order pack, not just the reg code?
I would like the pack but as far as I can see it is limited to the US.
