Quickscoping

(FishChips) #61

hey, anyone has the exact timing numbers for this?
its a nice thing to bind on a razer or any other programmable mouse :slight_smile:

thanks, fishchip

Definetly worth watching. Loved the consistensy of your aim and some sprees and situations really made me smile. Like backing away behind a corner from a seemingly desperate situation and turning around making them do the decision to leave the annoying sniper to be or pursuit to look around the corner… they always come.

This from my once used macro:

SendInput {F13 down}
SendInput {F14 down}
Sleep 40
SendInput {F13 up}
SendInput {F14 up}
Sleep 100
SendInput {2}
Sleep 100
SendInput {3}

That you found a macro to do it for you ?

Wrong timings in ur macro dude… If you really need, i have timings posted above.

(ispellcorrectly) #70

it aint a macro, its by hand using my fingers, but im not talking about that… look at the ammo… it aint going down

but if you shoot slower, the ammo decreases

(murka) #71

Like we said, wrong timing.

(ispellcorrectly) #72

ok, im sorry, explain why that is a bad thing?

obviously my timings being wrong is a bad thing, but loosing no ammo is not?

EDIT: so each person who uses Quickscoping has the exact same timings? which means ā€˜you already knew about this’ (though you didn’t point it out) and I am just an idiot? Can’t see that being possible… well apart from the idiot part that is :stuck_out_tongue:

(murka) #73

You are switching to pistol too fast, not giving time for shot to register.

(ispellcorrectly) #74

umm, it left marks on walls and stuff, it was 1337?

I mean, does that not define a registered shot?

(murka) #75

You must understand that client and server often disagree. Client is just predicting. The server is however ALWAYS right.

(ispellcorrectly) #76

well, unfortunately for me, thats as slow as I can move my fingers when under pressure, or I will get it wrong… I can’t see so many people (while quickscoping is become more and more popular) getting their ā€œtimingā€ right…

yes, yes, I know your probably right… but you know…

(murka) #77

Newsflash: This has a learning curve. You need to PRACTICE.

(ispellcorrectly) #78

duh: mr murka, I was practicing, just hard when trying to fill the server :smiley:

(INF3RN0) #79

That was exactly what was happening to me and some others. It registered the bullet coming out when we were shooting at each other, but the ammo sometimes never registered. I don’t weapon swap much, so I don’t know how consistent it might be.

(jopjop) #80

The times I have done that and was too quick about it the shots never registered. I wonder if it makes any difference to play weaponmodel on/off. I have it off…
