Question about Registered Names

I read the IGN article about how Activision was going to be selling pre-orders and pre-registered names for Quake Wars.

My question is about how the naming scheme will be handled. Will clan tags be handled seperately from names? It’s seems logical to have a seperate cvars for player name and clan tag.

You’ll be able to change what name appears in the scoreboard (paraphrasing a SD dev) so don’t think it will have the same limitations as BF2.
