question about ETQW

(Bltz|Rabbit) #1

So I was watching some etqw vids, and I noticed that theres an auto aim thingy. It was very visible and lost of people agreed that it was auto aim. (or atleast we think so).
Is there auto aim in ETQW? And if there is, will there be a cvar to turn it off?

Ehmm, I can’t say for sure (obviously) but I seriously doubt there will be a build in aimbot

(Lanz) #3

I too seriously doubt that, but out of interest, which vid was it?

(digibob) #4

There is no auto-aim.

(Got-JuicE) #5

He might of been just realy good

(Svanire) #6

The guns look naturally accurate which is a great thing, I’m so over the point shoot nothing happens games.

(kamikazee) #7

I only seemed to notice that the crosshair changed when you were in a vehicle and moved over an enemy vehicle.

(carnage) #8

i din notice any extra ordinary aim in any of the vids. maby you should go spectate in ET for a while

I play all the time bud. Plus I got this info from someone who plays / specs all the time.

Thanks. Hes starting to believe me a little. But heres the doubt that still has him to question it.

Look around 1:30ish, when he bobs and watch his crosshair. Then around 2:00ish, the crosshair looks a bit weird, like it has the halo auto aim stuff.

Looks like player bob to me.

Watch the crosshair relative to the monitor frame, rather than the game - you’ll see it doesn’t move, it’s just that the camera bobbing in sync with the game movement makes it look a bit weird occasionally.
