A single monitor is enough imho, as long as it’s this one: http://www.i4u.com/article5229.html
"It’s a wide screen (16:9) with a screen width and height of about 2.2m and 1.2m, with a response speed of 5ms. LG.Philips is claiming a resolution of 6.22 million pixels, 3000:1 contrast ratio, color reproduction of 92 percent, and an omni-directional, 180-degree viewing angle. "
That’s right, but in this setup you have to look at your left to see how many ammo you got, and to the right to see your number of frags. Whilst it’s a cool idea, it might be too much for regular play.
I doubt if the guy actually plays on this, he’ll surely die early, and I mean in real life! Looks very cool though!
How about 24 of the 100" ones then? ;)[/quote]
playing a game in the movie theaters:P screens would be fun dow but I wouldnt wane know how that will feel
At a Lan last year I remeber watchin a guy play railgun on a wall projector. Lookin fuckin style.
Ive played ET once with a beamer as well, but it suxx as the quality isnt as good as a monitor… I could barely read the chatbox…
Well, you’d play one a regular screen but project the screen on the wall as well.
I had a good laugh when a guy was showing some Worms World Party with a beamer, it’s allways lovely to see those worms flying across a wide screen.
I wonder if it would help you at all. Would be cool in UT2004 where you can change your viewing angle area.
