2 weeks to go until Brink’s release and I thought I would hit up a few rounds of ETQW. So I go into a server and I automatically get kicked out. Several times.
It’s all kinds of reasons like corrupted packet flow, ‘handshaking failed’ and whatever. All some random punkbuster errors. Game itself is up to date.
Should I manually update punkbuster like in the all days? Could anyone give me a decent link or something? Thanks.

I’ve never ever seen so many Punkbuster kicks as in the last couple of weeks.

Updated PB manually with the progam.
Added exception for PnkBstrA and B for Microsoft Security Essentials.
Still keep getting kicked out.

happen when PB unable to update iself manually, or malformed by malware or crippled during update[with or without disasters during it].
Your pb installation is probably ok.
It’s just the ****ing MSE realtime protection, Funkenstein posted the link. Some update is apparently hostile to ETQW.
You have to disable realtime protection during ETQW play, putting etqw folder on the whitelist does not work for me (or pb stuff).
Just uncheck the option and recheck it after you’ve played.
