Public Beta?

Are we looking at a public beta that will be released at E3?

I know alot of huge games release there beta’s at E3, i only pray to god that they do the same, it would easily take the best of show at E3.

What was the last game to release a public beta apart from ET?

Alls i ever see is leaked / illegal ( stalker / HL2 ) and demo’s released AFTER the retail ( Q4 )

Oh COD2 had a demo before the retail… but that was SP and not really a beta…

Well in the interview in Edge it said a public demo would be released before the launch…So this may be the demo that we will get to play in June/July. I hope so anyway!

RTCW Beach & ET fuel dump demos have a special place in my heart, i hope they bunch up and let the ET:QW demo squeeze in beside them :rolleyes:

Better yet, release a “tech demo” directly after E3 ala UT2003 (it might have been during E3 I’m not too sure).

Sigh… if there’s going to be an ET:Test of this game soon that means I’m going to have to call into work sick, keep the lights off and put dark colored blankets over my windows and not leave my room so I can play constantly until the game is actually released…

RtCW and ET tests did this to me… now potentially QW?
