Am I the only one seeing a marked increase in bizarre behavior that detracts from the game play? I was on my favorite server, Ilangame.com Fueldump last night, some raving a-hole called Foobar was teamkilling and screwing up the allied assault for three quarters of the game, while the Admin. apparently slept, before he finally got kicked. He literally cost us the game. I am seeing more and more of this infantile stuff, and if the Admins. are asleep at the switch, I just bail. Twisted behavior is fine during warmup, or after the 30 second mark, but give it a rest during the game. If you want a fragfest, go play Q3 for christ’s sake.

Well I’d say its about time for some new multiplayer games coming out! I know for myself - I’m just on the edge of being tired of playing some of the maps I’ve been playing over and over again. Sure they are fun…but some days I can see how tempting it is (For ET anyways) to:
-Plant a grenade underneath the mortar guy
-Plant another grenade underneath someone on the edge of a steep fall
-Get close to some guy near the edge of a cliff and just shoot him until he falls off
-A good knife in the back of a concentrating Covt ops is always funny
-Stepping on the engineers landmines and setting them all off
-Using the panzerfaust to kill yourself and send your buddies flying through the air
-Using the mortar at a steep angle to hit a wall that’s near your own spawn
-Planting dynamite near the spawn
-Disabling someone else’s dynamite that’s supposed to blow up an objective
There are days when you just become mischievous - these are things that I do with my own clan but not generally on public servers
I do although enjoy on the temple map…waiting for one of my own teammates to come towards the spike trap, then setting it off. But they know me well enough and try to get me back for it. Depends on where your at and who your with. I know some might take it too far. These are usually those that are probably teenagers that have had too much mountain dew, and not enough oxy-cream, and besides mom’s gonna call them and tell 'em its bed time anyways so they might as well make a few people mad. That’s my stereo type for the night.

Watch the ABA Monkey Do video from http://swertcw.com. Its RTCW but shows them playing in RTCW.No and Clanbase and some of the shit is hilarious… constant tks in game, 3 of em stacking for a 2 man stack jump and STILL took them 5 minutes which they didnt even make it in the end and such… all in good spirits.

Well, I enjoy a good bit of twisted weirdness as well as the next guy, but screw up my game and I’ll pursue you to the hubs of hell and panzer head-shot you, fair enough? I take my simulated murder seriously, cause it keeps the demonic voices in my head quiet.

We’ve been having to kick or ban a lot more people off of our server than in the past. I’d say 95% of the time it’s teamkillers, and the other 5% is swearing at or tormenting admins and normal players, or vote spamming.

Yeah this behaviour from formally “ok” players is on the rise. I think they are getting bored of the game or smthing. :moo:

I’d say my experience is the exact opposite. I’m finding the level of teamwork and general “good” behaviour on the increase amongst the servers I visit. But then I stick to ETPro Stopwatch servers, which are mostly populated with Clan players. I can see how the average pub “fun” servers might be losing it a bit, as without a reason to play properly (i.e. Clan involvement) I can see how people would get bored and start messing about.
It may be true that this sort of behaviour is on the rise on certain kinds of server, but there are many servers out there where the opposite is also true.

Still never seen ya on a pub Kendle but T!'s once. Afaik you lot all alias? Looked that way when we played yas other week there? :o
Still sticking about Efter and Bio a bit but ev0ken and DeuS both have nice servers. Decent pings, decent players and decent gaming. Both SW and same setup as BiO/Efter with the customs etc…

We do. My alias is ElCid on pubs. Other members of T! are Drift|King, Whistle, Johhny Blaze, flash.dangerpants, Mafia John, MrStabby and Der Totmacher. tbh, haven’t been on our server (other than for scrims and matches) in a while. Been a bit busy with Unter.

Maybe I should substitute “Sociopathic” for “Psychotic”. A sociopath is someone who does things purely for his own satisfaction, regardless of the consequences to others, like flaming your own spawn, for example (nothing personal, puubert). Given the vast number of online players, we are virtually guarenteed to play with some genuinely sick people. The only known cure for sociopaths is a bullet in the head, or maybe a panzer. I volunteer to administer the cure.
