i just invested in a mx510 
its so smooth and i love it, but it seems i have mouse accel on, i cheaked in ET console and it is disabled, i got raZiels guide and i opened the regfix thing to turn it off on windows BUT
when i SLOWLY move the mouse from the middle of the mousemat to the left it is just short of a 180, but…
when i SPEEDILY move the mouse from the middle of the mousemat to as far left as i can it makes more than a 180 turn, that is mouse accel, and i cant find how to disable it

i got an mx510 and although i have not had this problem it maybe because before i played ET with it i messed with all its settings etc…during this i discovered that the mouseware that came with it has an option for disabling mouse acceleration in games. Goto the Motion tab when you open your mouse software and check the box called : Disable acceleration in games
I also set my acceleration to no anyway to be on the safe side.
Try switching this off and see if its solved
