Problem with ET

Hi,

I dont know if this is the right place to post but worth a try.

I popped by in #splashdamage earlier on and got a bit of help but it still hasnt helped much.

When i load ET, it gets into the game ok, then within being on the server and playing for a matter of 2 minutes or less, it locks up totally with the sound looping.

I’ve tried reinstalling it, latest drivers, removed old drivers properly etc, i have directx9.1 and a little lost now.

Any help would be appreciated.

A longshot but do u use powerstrip by any chance? I had the exact same problem in RTCW and in ET when I tried to run them with powerstrip. So I disabled PS and they worked fine.
