If the text flashes red, it must be important. What did it say? (Hint: copy paste it.)

Windows XP or before
On your desktop, rightclick and do properties. Then go to the advanced tab. There it should say: nVidia GeForce … or ATi Radeon … somewhere

Windows Vista
On your desktop, rightclock and go for personalize. Then go for the last one (displaysettings in english i guess, dutch verson here).
There it should say: nVidia GeForce … or ATi Radeon … somewhere

If it is nVidia:
www.nvidia.com, download drivers. Select everything and download. Install and reboot

ATi:
www.ati.amd.com, download drivers and select your model etc etc. Download andinstall. Then reboot.

Goodluck.

You want the latest Nvidia driver, heres a link http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html
Note: this is for Windows XP and Windows 2000 if you have Windows 98 then you will have to restart the process.
