Running people over is kind of effective, but people think you are an idiot for doing that, and results in a kick or ban.

I hope running individuals over and ramming into other vehicles is effective enough to damage individuals or vehicles. I hear the strogg hog truck is very effective at this.

Basically you don’t need to shoot at the strogg trying to kill the MCP in the tunnel of valley. You only have to run them over with a vehicle with both speed and power, like the badger truck, since titan tank is slow, and husky quad in not enough armor.

I hear that the engineer will be able to drive a steamroller, but I don’t think it’s fast enough to hit anyone else with, unless you sneak up on a prone Infiltrator sniping away

The best transport vehicle in quake wars would be…

the coach bus. that’s right. You can transport your own troops as well as ramming into strogg. The coach bus had the longest lifetime in GTA3, but was prone to tip over.

But still, I’d pick strogg for the sake of playing GTA on quake wars. Afterall, their hog truck is made for ramming and running over things.

I also hope that you can step on GDF with the goliath walker.
The GDF player would see a shadow becoming bigger. Until he notices what is going on, it is already too late.

Note that he would need to be partially blind and completely deaf to be surprised by a walker. I believe you can’t miss it due to it’s bulky size and stomping sounds unless you are in the middle of complete mayhem.

I’m sure Strogg aggressors and constructors will be there welcoming you with rockets and anti-vehicle stuff.

Don’t know how this works in Battlefield, but an infantry unit should be nimble enough to evade a run over attempt. For instance, when I played Auto Assault beta it was neither easy nor efficient to kill enemies by running them over. In the end, we will be using the mounted gun most of the time I think.

I won’t bother for sure if you, for once, kill me using your wheels :twisted:

Balance of air vs. ground is always a popular one, although it seems like it’ll be pretty even… we can see from the videos that the Soldier’s LAW wrecks aircraft.

My point wasn’t that he was whining, I was only stating that there is nothing to whine about that topic if you use logic.

I bet that in the long run most ppl by far will whine about weapons balance.

I dont know what the weapon balance will be like, but I know its very frustrating to constantly die in a 1on1 firefight. So what easier way to explain your incopetence than to blame it all on weapon balance. I still remember Warcraft 3. Every time you lose its becouse your opponents race is imbalanced not becouse you lack skill.

Other than that maybe SD should consider releasing the game on Bluray disc. That would shurely annoy me
