It is our express purpose to…OK, maybe it’s just my express purpose. But if players aren’t reduced to weeping twists of ennui, howling with hands raised imploring uselessly to the bare, moonless sky, consumed with rage and ennui within five minutes of installation…well, I certainly will feel I’ve failed. If I’m lucky, it’ll happen before they open the box. Fingers crossed, eh?

That’s an easy one! Just ask Activision to use cardboard boxes and place the DVD’s in those good ol’ CD cases. Then wrap those in plastic like they do for CD-R’s and players will take at least five minutes before they can open the box.

i predict that the most whining will come (from bf players) about the vehicles. more specifically, i think they’re gonna complain about how all vehicles are underpowered and can be killed/disabled too easily.

“OMGWTFBBQ?!!?!one1! nurfd vehicles FTL!”

Sneaking around, camping, trying to get the first shot off and having it nearly fatal may be more realistic, but IMO extremely boring. I’d rather have a less realistic game that was more fun.

hehe i have a big floppy like that somewhere, maybe not that big.
edit: cant tell by the picture but seems to be the same size

played bf2142 demo, the only things i dont like are: bad accuracy, if i get lost nobody offers me a lift and omfg i have this rocket launcher and i cant kill the enemy walker, omg 6 shots fired but its still walking.

This 8" floppy has a communication program called ASCOM v2.29 on it, in case anyone needs it. No guarantee it’s still readable. :wink:

I actually wanted to play quake wars GTA style. Getting on a jeep, running people over, do drive by shootings etc etc.
