Pre-Order bs?!?

Ok, I broke down today and pre-ordered it…where is this code I get so I can keep my name? Where do I enter it if I ever get it?

Did you preorder it online? Did you get the poster and cards? If you didn’t get the poster and cards, then you ordered the regular version I’m afraid.

The good thing about ordering online is that you can order it from anywhere. The bad thing about it is that you don’t really know where the “pre-order” link leads to. Normal? Collectors?

I ordered mine directly in store, and I think that’s the safest bet because I have all the gear that I needed. Card with code included.

Or maybe your code card is stashed deep somewhere inside?

I have the same thing but cannot register my name.

It’s giving me registration code error. I never got any confirmation if my registration went through.

I emailed activision but no response as of yet. This is frustrating!

Yes I pre-ordered online. I assumed it was like (devil game) BF-2142, where you pre-order and they send you an email with the code. I really doubt I will get my “gift pack” (cards and such) mailed to me, then later get the game mailed to me.

Oh-well…false advertising i guess.

i pre orderd from game yesterday and got an email today with my code. i followed the link in the email input the code and hey presto…my game name is reserved. i got an email back telling me once i get my game all i need to do is log on and enter my game key.

as far as i know game are the only ones handing out codes, play.com are ment to but i had my game orderd from them for the last two weeks and i havent heard zip from them so i canciled the order.

It would be interesting to know how many that has pre-ordered the game. I wont though since I really don’t care about any special nickname and I rather wait for a demo before buying. But knowing how many that pre-ordered would be interesting just to get some preliminary stats on how popular this game will be.

my pre-order went through fine, got the code 4 or 5 days later. went through game also.

I got my code within the game package so, I got mine the same day I got the other stuff. That’s because I bought mine in store.

Must be a European thing that the code thing is wierd? I live in Canada so I don’t know if there are problems in North America.

I bet Activision can’t keep track of this if people continue to make orders, cancel them and then register with the accidentally sent registration code.

The release date must be fairly close as they have got all the packaging and whats going to be inside sorted

but you’d still require a purchase of the game to get the CD-key to tie up against your registration code

I got my pr-Order last week , and everything went ok I paid full price at GameStop they sead it will be in my hands on 06/05/07 .
