Possible bug in 1.02 - random kickban?

I just got kickbanned while playing on [FuN] EVERMORE (with over 900 xp :angry: ) … I did absolutely nothing to warrant a kick, and the other players said I got kicked for ‘too many complaints’, despite having 0 tks that map so far. EVERMORE is 1.02 etpro 2.0.0… has anyone heard of a ‘too many complaints’ bug in 1.02/etpro 2.0.0 or was some admin just being an asshole? (Not wishing to jump to conclusions :smiley: )

Well as I said I did nothing to warrant being kicked. I mean, really, really, I was being Mr Nice Sweetness and Light :smiley:

The only possible thing I can think of at all is that I had just gone out the battery back door as Axis. If an admin kicked me for that then I shall shut up now before I start to use rude words.

Thats probbably it a lot of admins do kick ppl for going out the back. Kicking instantly is a bit harsh they shouldve at least given u a warning.

it seems to me that the [FUN] bunch should just password their server and only let their select “friends” play there, why have a public if you ban for any little thing?

And we have a winner. You’re not the first to be kicked from the fun server for going out the back door. The admins are a little power crazy on that server. Might I recommend the BoD server (212.13.197.141:27995). The admin are top class and play regularly, and they don’t put up with crap like spam voting and TKs. Some good players frequent there and it’s generally a great server to play on unless you’re an XP whore, a TKer or a spammer.

OK, kicked for playing sensibly (going out the back door is not stupid if you know what you’re doing) with no warning whatsoever. I shall just say I’m not 'appy and leave it at that.
