“provide” ? “Oh Dear” © SD
you mistake me with your wife or with google.
seems

p.s.
no, mr lol[dunno why you pick such [werd]salutation], my job is another, according to my contract with my employer.

(light_sh4v0r) #283

Something isn’t right here. If you provide debatable information without giving us the source, why would we believe you? Telling people to find that source themselves sounds more like you don’t want us to believe you OR you don’t have a source and made it all up.

(brbrbr) #284

“debatable information” ?
want debate it ?
start then.
giving up the source ? killing “source” ? no way.
“Telling people to find that source themselves” is only way 4 people to get info as well as [properly]understand it.
rather than [force]pushing own PoV thru other people throats/brains.
i don’t want anything anyone.
especially such things as “believe”.
i have [harsh]experience of being Godlike creature and thats enough for me, thanksp[, but im pass you advertisement/offer].
guessing/acusing/bitching, slanderous assaults is not best ways to proceed with “debates”.
try harder, more seriously. bother for self and other people.

p.s.
trying setup own rules for other people is lead nothing.
than to [much more]serious trobles[than your current ones]4 you.
stop it, before its stop you[finally].

What are you on about, Basiley? Unless you can back up your claims they’re not more valid than baseless conjecture. Telling people to google for it themselves is a cop-out and further weakens your point. You opposing something as crystal as this and then rambling on about you “being a Godlike creature” just makes you look delusional and mentally unstable.

So once more: Source please?

(Nail) #286

I guess this says it best

Rahdo :
“all i can say to this is the ball is in Bethesda’s court. if they see the financial incentive to do Linux (or mac) ports, they’ll do them. if not, they won’t. it’s their money, and you’ve got to take the argument to them. we’re just trying to make the best game we can”

(Susefreak) #287

You’re confused, you’re devils spawn.

(system) #288

If you don’t want to talk about your top secret information, then don’t give hints - its a little childish.
I watch this linux thread too closely cause i hope too they will support it but will just wait for it.

But brbrbr is like a kid running on the street singing & yelling “i know something that you don’t know …lalala”…

I heard i heard - i hear some things too sometimes…

(sorry for being a bit harsh  )

(Nail) #289

I haven’t found any evidence Bethesda or ZeniMax have considered linux for anything, it will probably be up to Splash Damage if there is even a linux server

(AnthonyDa) #290

Linux server should be here, like many steamworks game.

(system) #291

I hardly doubt they will ignore linux server support since many or even most servers run linux systems.

haha, you posts[and similar creatures activity]is thats actually show WHY my position is ONLY valid ones :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
baseless bashing from anyone unfiling to follow you orders/not intimidated[by poor rtetoric/nlp usage or otherways], is ftw, sure.
but not this time.
you fail.
try harder and provide at leaast some [reasonable]reasons.
and try say something, while talking, finally.
its helps, usually.
for most people.
i hope, you one of them.

wrong words choice for infernal creature[such as you], i guess.

This is why you should stay in school, kids!

Edit: to stay on topic; though I’m not all too familiar of the Linux gaming scene, there’s always wine and cedega if all else fails, right? If I’m not mistaken most modern games are playable after some tinkering without a too big performance drop. Anyone who has more than basic knowledge is encouraged to step in and correct me.

Wine and Cedega are certainly not a holy grail. Especially the latter just sucks balls.
Games might be playable, but some need some serious tweaking. Another con is that Punkbuster doesn’t run in Wine, aka bye bye Multiplayer.

(Voxie) #295

Brink will use VAC, not Punkbuster, and if my memory serves me VAC doesn’t bother users for using Wine (don’t quote me on that though). That being said, using compatibility layers to get it running is far from ideal, but seeing how the Steam client isn’t natively available for Linux as of yet, that’s pretty much the only option available apart from running it in Windows.

(light_sh4v0r) #296

ty Voxie, for a second I thought everyone was Basiley-infected and I was left all on my own to fend off all the ridiculousness.

(Voxie) #297

I guess most people here knows a lost cause when they see one. I usually ignore his posts and laugh it off, but when it’s at that extraordinary level of stupidity it’s hard not to hit the quote button.

(Nail) #298

lol, you people just don’t understand Russian

(light_sh4v0r) #299

True, which is why he doesn’t communicate in Russian. He communicates in English and I have no idea how that influences his point in any way. If for Russians it is normal to randomly throw about statements without providing a source (not even when someone asks for it) then so be it. Doesn’t change the fact that he looks like a kid who has no idea what he’s talking about to me.

(INF3RN0) #300

Baisley invented his own language I think… lol.
