After playing the game for a while and roaming the forums (both here and on Steam), I found some hot topics that has been constantly discussed, and I feel that these should be attended to immediately.
Hacking
Hacking is definitely a huge issue, especially if we are talking about a PvP game. A situation where one player can draw away 5 from the game every match definitely hurts the game a lot. If you lose playerbase, then there will be less players for people to play against, and also less profit to be made. Less players to play against means that more people may be willing to be inclined to leaving the game, and this can lead to a drastic cycle. You mainly see this trend in p2w games, though it does not mean that it won’t affect this game either.
Trading down Cards
Allowing players to trade up to Cobalt was nice, but that does not solve the issue with useless cards. If the player gets a useless Cobalt card, then said card will just be stashed away and not be used. Please allow players to trade down cards.
The following are some of my personal issues with the game.
Merc Accessibility
Right now, players have access to Skyhammer (Fire Support) and Aura (Medic), along with 3 random mercs from rotation. Now, the number of mercs available is definitely nice, but the biggest issue here is that players may or may not have access to all necessary mercs to win a match. Our last rotation had no engineer, so that meant that a team full of newbies will definitely have less of an advantage against players who’ve played longer, and not just because of skill. I would like to suggest to make Proxy a free merc, and also have the rotation contain at least one Assault merc constantly. That way, players would have a lot of counter measures against certain situations, while also being able to try out a variety of mercs before making a purchase. This will cause an issue with players who have already purchased Proxy though, so I do not know how this would be taken cared of.
Rank Up Rewards
The rewards you gain after rank 5 is very depressing; you get a single case after each rank up. Considering how difficult it is to rank up pass a certain rank, I propose a small credit reward after each rank up. This will be a constant 5,000 credits for each rank up.
This will be a suggestion, though it is definitely not required
“Elite” Missions
These “elite” missions will be very difficult to complete, and you must forfeit your missions that rotates every 3 hours for 24 hours (so, you won’t be able to complete missions and get the rewards from them for 24 hours upon receiving this mission). The mission must be completed within 24 hours as well, or else it will be removed and you will be given another 3 normal missions after. But, the reward of this mission will be an elite case. Once completed and the 24 time period has passed, you will receive your normal 3 missions. This option is more for players who have already bought all “necessary” stuff (such as mercs and loadout cards).
