Hello Splashdamage, could you create a full version for Wolfenstein Enemy Territory Version 2.60b?
Because most people think they have version 2.60 / 2.60b when they download it from Here: http://www.splashdamage.com/?page_id=14
But in reality its just the old version 2.55!
And to get to 2.60b, you must patch to 2.60 and then 2.60b!
Then all people would play the secure 2.60b.

The best would be if you create/develop a new version (2.65) with a full install for windows 
Might make an unofficial distribution of ET that has everything on it, and a default mod (etmain2?) that has all of Project: Bugfix in it, and hitsounds.
It’s just finding the time to do it really…
If you searched the forum there has been an unofficial release which installs everything for you. I’m sure if you searched a bit you might find this of use.
there are plenty unofficial packages that come with patched et + mods & maps, just search it.
Yes well to be honest I didn’t even know that the download page for ET that you posted existed, I’ve always used an off-site mirror…
nobody I thought, it isn’t developed anymore, people just make mods for it…

Why do you need an official installer??? Just use the unofficial ones, they do the same job. Or are you to lazy to have a search around?
From here you can get it as official as you can get. It’s a HUGE site and afaik it’s the official fan site etc. I have downloaded my et installers (not full 2.60b, but patches and such) from there and can almost 99,9 % guarantee it doesn’t have any viral code in it. Too bad you (some of you) will need to REGISTER to be able to download it.
Afaik the patches 1.2/2.55/2.60/2.60b/etc. aren’t sort of “official”. Or are they made by SD/ID/ACTVISION or who ever that had something to do with the original dev group? Hope I didn’t give you too much wrong information.
All the released patches are official ones from SD. Its the different versions of mods that are “unofficial”. And as for “OMG TEH VIRII!!!” The ET community is fairly good, especially the site mentioned above, but I wasn’t gonna do the work for you and if you want an all-in installer just use the one linked to.

our (the site mentioned above) site screens all our downloads before putting them on the ftp server, I do most if not all of this myself. I promise it’s virus free
One of our admin/moderators check them any time we get a query
Oh, so why doesn’t he just get the 2.55 full installed, then download 2.60b patch? All you have to do is find the .exe file (in program files you have to be in windows explorer to do this) and replace it with the patch download. Simple, you won’t screw anything up.
because you have to update 2.55 to 2.60 before you install the 2.60b patch, easier just to use the full 2.60b installer as linked to in earlier posts
