Please ban JiM and CyborgRommel - footage of griefing with votekick abuse

These two guys are absolute cancer for the AUS/NZ gaming community. I’m sure ANYONE who has been playing a while in these servers has experienced what kind of cunts they are, and how they do nothing but try to cause misery in others through their constant trolling in chat and abuse of the vote kick and vote shuffle methods.

I should mention that these two guys are very good players - it can’t be denied (JiM especially). But who’s good and who’s bad is not important here, really. What’s important is their constant griefing.

I also know that I’m not the only one who has been kicked by their abuse (and I’m DEFINITELY not the only one who cops all of their attempts at abuse, lol). The main reason I posted this in the General Chat is because I want the people who have been trolled by these pricks before to speak up and add to the evidence against them.

Anyway - here’s the video.

The first section is a game on Chapel where myself and two intermediate players are against JiM and CyborgRommel (some more players join later on). I just edited it down to the moments where I kill them, and the moments where they kill me, and the moment at the end when they left the game.

The second section is a game (on that same server, two games later) on Underground where we were having a good time without them, and then suddenly they both join the server, manage to both get on my team and then they start a vote kick for me, which goes through without any time for me to react.

Now, I’m no stranger to his usual abuse in chat/comms and I roll with it (as you can see in the video, I changed my clan tag to [<3JiM] when they joined), and they both ended up rage quitting in the first part of the video), but I have to admit that being vote kicked and, as a result, being temporarily banned from a server is beyond frustrating, and these two guys NEED to be removed from the DB community.

(Also, for those of you who don’t play in this region, our community is really small compared to the US/UK regions and so for the morning and early afternoon there is often only one server with players in it - so being banned is INCREDIBLY frustrating, since you basically can’t play the game at all until that ban is lifted, and that’s why their votekick abuse is such a pain in the ass)

I’m also fairly certain that he’s joining games along with more friends on teamspeak, who then instantly vote kick anyone they don’t like - my friend Cam just joined the same server about 20minutes after I got kicked, as I was writing this, and he got voted up and kicked INSTANTLY (he said he’ll post the console screenshot of it happening).

JiM and good don’t belong in the same sentence. That guy is actually terrible tbh. But he is cancer, more so than myself. Very abusive, always kicking people, always swearing people, always shuffling. He’s even started up some real life abuse with poit apparently threatening him and all sorts of crap. He should have been banned months ago.

I really hope that doesn’t happen though, because customer support won’t do anything abouit JiM.

+1 To this thread. Can’t stand him, the second you join a server, and he’s notified that you’ve joined, before you even load in, you can hear him talking smack about you in comms. And before you can even get out of your spawn there is a kick vote initiated where him and his entourage of children scream " F1 HE’S AFK! " in voice chat.

Literally 5 minutes before posting this comment I got kicked by JiM and his kids before I could even fully load in.

I completely agree with @ProfPlump and @Dox, these players (especially JiM) constantly troll servers, swearing as loud as they can at teammates if they don’t do something they want (like being too late to rez, or playing bad in thier eyes), name calling, vote kicking, etc etc.

The biggest issue i have with him is the vote kicking, he will get on the mic and yell to the team “he’s afk kick him he’s afk everyone vote yes!” before i even have a chance to react because ill be busy at the time playing, then it passes and i can’t join that server.

A huge majority of players on Aus/NZ servers know who he is and all of them have been abused or seen him abusing people.

Agree to disagree :stuck_out_tongue: Every time I play JiM I go like 50/10 and he goes like 20/30. I would call him average at best. But lets not go too off topic. You are right something needs to be done about him, but I don’t know what can be done - the guys will probably just remove this thread and customer support will not do anything about him. Maybe if we could do a group report something might be able to be done, but it’s not possible :frowning:

FYI as well - I’ve actually made reports about him before, even through steams customer support as well, and nothing has been done about him, so hopefully the devs will help reach out here and tell us what ELSE we can actually do.

@Dox I’ve reported him ingame multiple times to no effect. Something needs to be done, its just toxic for the community and most players like us are regular on these servers, it just ruins the game.

Players like these need to be ban for bad behaviour. They’re just dicks and this game is about not being a Dick.
Maybe add a bad behaviour choice in report section. Then we’ll be able to report racism and abusive trolling. Or even dicking in their case.

Oh yeah and, for the record, I WOULD have reported him in-game if I hadn’t been kicked so quickly. Not that reporting people does anything anyway…

well, i dont see how two guys can consistently votekick people. if peeps spam f1 just cause they heard someone is afk without checking themselves ( which takes likes 2sec of looking at spawn on map), they are at fault too.

as far as abuse - just mute and move on.

im not trying to belittle your experiences and consistent griefers should be banned just like cheaters who ruin the experience for others. however, i find it hard to imagine trolls of this magnititude without major feeding from you guys. see them in game - insta mute and announce you aint afk, and just play the game : )

Sza I understand what you’re saying, but this is JiM. EVERYONE knows who this guy is, and he is a MASSIVE dick to EVERYONE. There is no ‘feeding’ him on our part. In fact, I can re-post the video without cuts to prove that I never antagonised him (unless you count putting [<3JiM] as your clan tag, which is just what I do whenever he starts abusing me - I say stuff like “love you too bb” or “JiM why do you hate me when all I do is love you?”). And, in this case, I didn’t write ANYTHING in chat whatsoever (except for when I wrote “lol JiM just rage quitted” after he was gone).

Trust me - this guy just likes to grief and it doesn’t matter who the person is. ANYONE on his team gets the same treatment (although, obviously, if you speak out against him he’ll target you more than the others). I know that, in some cases, people will sometimes choose to troll people they don’t like and that’s fine - but these guys do it ALL the time to EVERYONE - it’s not just a one-off. I have NEVER played with him and NOT had him try to grief me or someone else in some way (even when I’m on the OTHER team you can see his teammates in chat telling him to stfu).

And idk how he consistently votekicks people either. All I know is that, in the example I gave, he had a friend to back him up and, since it was only a small server at the time, he didn’t need many more votes at all (and the way that the vote system works causes the vote to IGNORE any negative votes - if there are enough Yes votes it will go through, regardless of how many No votes there are). I also think it might be something to do with the recent update making votekicks MUCH easier to pass through.

i dont know if this is starting to become a trend in asia server. i was making a new account for a friend who wants to play DB with me. then there are people like this saying my friend is AFK so we should kick him and with full power of voting while spawning.

while i was playing with him he got kicked twice for being my medic (rhino aura) by a guy we met in the match before getting kicked. (i think hes angry because i spawn camp with rhino and an aura being a pocket medic)

or am i being a dick?

Spawn camping is 100% fine in Dirty Bomb, since they have spawn protection (meaning that you’re at a disadvantage if you engage them too soon after they spawn. The main reason that it’s annoying is simply because they aren’t expecting it most of the time.

It’s not like in Battlefield where, if your team is getting spawn camped in your deployment, your only vehicles are being blown up before they can even be spawned into, or in COD4 where on open maps those 7 killstreak helicopters would just kill you over and over again since you had nowhere to hide, getting gunned down merely seconds after spawning.

bad behavior is such a subjective and grey area on online games that frankly i don’t think the nexon team cares. Worst case, you quit the game. This is F2P so what you get is what you get. Unfortunately…

what to say about JiM as far as when i see him in game i just mute him like Szakalot said but i have seen and heard jims abuse of anyone who is in his game and agree that he should be banned

As I said, this post is not about the abuse. I don’t care about his abuse, but it’s the fact that him and his friends are votekicking and banning ANYONE that they don’t personally like from public servers is the issue here. The fact that he’s a dick to everyone all the time is just something I brought up because I thought it was worth mentioning on the side.

If JiM isn’t guilty of bad behaviour, then literally no one else is either - he is the WORST I have ever seen in any game ever, NO EXAGGERATION, and I’ve played a lot of games for a long time. No one has ever come close to behaving as badly as him.

But, again, this post is about his votekicking abuse, not his spam in the chatbox. We can turn the cold shoulder to his insults and abuse, but the same can’t be said for being forcefully kicked from the game and temporarily banned from the only server that has people in it.
