No, not another flamethrower topic, but a topic on dangerous things to do in ET, or times you’ve shook your head over someone tempting fate to the extreme. The motivation for such a topic was a fellow axis engineer I played with some time last week. We were playing Oasis, and the allies had planted at the north gun. I rushed for the gun, was able to take out the enemy engy, and darted inside to defuse. I was a little on the late side, but still well on time. The plant was on top of the gun, so I’m sitting there on top of it, defusing as the dyno’s timer ticks away – until suddenly I’m knifed in the back…by the other engineer, who TKs me so he can defuse himself and get the XP. Worst of all was the south gun had already been blown, so he could’ve cost us the match. Amazing.
