Especially when it actually records a merc switch when you are merely trying to vote. Spawning with another merc afterwards is plain bullocks.
Players not voting for shuffling teams.
I hate team shuffle because you do all the work some idiot team shuffle all that work down the drain. Then you have legit team shuffles but people won’t do it because finding a balanced game is hard and when they can finally win they aren’t going to shuffle.
Also when you team shuffle game doesn’t restart if I remember. So I and my team work hard push the EV shuffle now I’m defending GG. Already in last objective timer not enough. I just always vote no for shuffle. Even if I’m getting pub stomped I vote no. Just finish it and move on.
Obviously some stuff would need to change. For example either no shuffle after 33-50% of the match is done or if 33-50% is passed then the shuffle restarts the map. To make things more fair, the game could just keep everyone’s XP if it restarts the map, that way if you were on the winning team with like 8000 points, it doesn’t all just go down the drain.
I give the range of 33-50% because really we shouldn’t need to shuffle after 33%. When it’s REALLY bad (spawn camping, etc), within the first 3 minutes, you know you need a shuffle so 33% is pretty generous.

When players are getting stomped, they’ll often call for a shuffle team vote, but a majority of the time people on the winning side won’t vote yes, because there’s always a good chance the game will place them on the losing side.If a team is down more than two players then I’ll switch sides, but the biggest problem is when players have the win X number of execution rounds. It gives players incentive to stay on a stacked team in order to complete it.
When I used to administrate a couple of servers in Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and I noticed imbalanced teams. I would shuffle the teams, but I would also restart the match without resetting a player’s progress.
I love that you switch teams during matches. I also do the same, after two win, I can tell if we’re going to stomp Execution. I just do this to give a more fun game then it was before. (Makes the game actually stand-able. I have being on the stomping team.)
