I used to play for a rtcw clan called Old Generation Clan (all 30+). Our clan tag was OGC, and we used the abbreviation OGC in our teamchat while on public servers. (We wrote in swedish.) Apparently there is/was a cheat (for c.s.?) called OGC. We did not know that, in the beginning.
You can imagine all the attention we got when we cruised the servers around the globe playing like gods. 
People even came to our hompage asking “where can I get some?” or “do you have it available?”. Felt like a pusher.

Btw, why add an annoyance to the end of your nick? Either just change it to sumthin similar as before; evilsock!, evils0ck etc… or shorten it. Obv my nick was Piggy but as I had a few peeps bitching at me on IRC bout it being there ‘nick’ even tho all my Auths, Emails, Logins on QNet was Piggy and has been for years gone by. But I couldnt be arsed with it and took up teh trend of a/ going from y to eh. making it Piggeh… then just shortening it down to pgh/pgy. Whats wrong with evlsck, obv in your colors? I still get called Piggy on IRC, Voice, Ingame etc as its what im knowing as before and im sure youll still be reffered to as evilsock.

Hehe, plenty of people steal my name when TK Hunting. But as far as I’m aware, I was the one person planet-wide using my nick, and was for years ( just try a Google search for ‘KingJackaL’ - they mostly point to me ). Recently 2 or 3 links have opened that aren’t me when doing that google search, but meh!
…and my nick is only ‘KingJackaL’, because it used to be ‘Jackal’ ( a nick I had from RL ), but it didn’t take too long before I realised that there are 100’s of 'Jackal’s world-wide ;). Hence the name change…
Hmmm, now I just gotta copywrite it, and it’ll be mine! ALLL MINE! PRECCCIIIOOuuuussss…

Well, I was making an aol instant messenger name, and I was like “No way in hell am I gonna have no name with numbers in it and stuff.” So I decided to come up with a name that no one would ever have/had/had haved? And so I took my parents last names and mixed em together:
(Ryan+Staton)-y=Ranstaton. Although I almost invariably get called Ranstation… I guess my name just drives people to dyslexia?

ya havnt had the problem till laltly I was trying to think of a handle and liked Fusion but its wayyyyyy over used so thought hmmm Fusen then searched on google and found its some forign word for rubber or something lol then laltly someone on quakenet used it

heh, well once upon a time I had the nick ‘MIAB’ (Man in a Box) - trouble with that is you have to explain the acronym - over and over and over…
I’ve only ever seen my nick on RtCW once - that was after I’d shared my mp_config with a few ppl so they could see how to tweak the graphics and network settings - I forgot to take my name out - DOH!. I was on this server and there was someone playing with my name! So I said to the guy ‘Hey - that’s pretty unusual, you have the same nick as me, I haven’t seen that before’ and he disappeared, never to be seen again - I guess my config had been passed around like a porno mag heh.
The only other time was when I saw farting around on IRC looking for DreamCast demo’s and such and this guy PM’s me and says ‘Hey you ya fuck, you’ve stolen my name - I’ve had this name since the ‘bigbang’ so who are you, you little fuck to steal it! Give it back’ - he must have thought I was a little kid or something - anyways, I just said to him ‘I had this name for a long time and it’s a shock to see someone else has it too - but I haven’t stolen it from you, I’ve been using it for ages and I asks him to follow a link to my website so he can see for himself’ - anyways, he’s gone for like 10 minutes and when he comes back he’s lke ‘Oh, I see, well, how about that, so who are you then?’ - and we end like having this conversation for about 30 minutes about crap but just getting off on two evilsocks having a chat - so it isn’t all bad - I just object to getting kicked like some n00b 
I wonder if you’d ever see more than one person with the nick ‘Highlander’

That bloody cow Jessica Alba RUINED ME!! NOOOO i never got my name from Dark Angel TV series with her in it. I’ve been using Darkangel for ages. Probably about 5 years now. I got my name from the Dolf Lundgren film called Dark Angel… about an alien drug dealer, doping people up to thier eyeballs, thwacking a bloody great rod into thier brain and sucking out the juice that’s supposed to be some uber drug? Anyways little did i know that yanks being yanks, just HAD to call it something different. It was called I Come In Peace over in yanksville so no one knew where i got my name. Then comes along miss prissy pants Jessica Alba and does a TV show called Dark Angel, now every focker thinks im a bint! Hell some guy practicaly proposed to me cos he thought i was a female who pwnt at Q3!! (i said, no… he wasnt… gifted… wiggles pinky finger).
