Hi. I just re-installed ETQW, updated to 1.5, updated punkbuster. I log in to my game account fine, but the “Play Online” text is faded and can’t be clicked. LAN and single player are working though. What gives?

Hey, thanks for answering so fast. It look like the account was local, even though I was sure I hit “use existing online account”. I deleted what I had and re-typed everything, and now it works. Thanks!

I got the server list, and a whole bunch of servers show up, but each time I highlight one with my mouse, it changes to say [Offline]. Any idea why? There was only one server that didn’t do that, but it’s full.

Just refresh your list, it happens to me everytime but it’s not really a problem, servers are online and joinable.

I think there’s something wrong with my system, because other ID tech games refuse to connect to servers now, too. I’ll fix it on my end, and eventually come join you people. Thanks for the help!

It has been a long time since I played but I remember this problem… When you click on the server it is supposed to refresh player list and whatnot, occasionally it would actually refresh the information but majority of the time it just showed Offline though as snot has said the servers would still be available to join.

Servers saying offline are probably in the middle of a map or campaign change, they will come back after a few secs once the new map is loaded.

Some server just always appear offline for me (Villa, Jesus, all the constantly populated ones)
