The thing is, I though about it since a long time, and I really tried, but I can’t see what’s OP (especially if Phantom does not have his armor shied anymore). Something that can plant the C4 without being seen, heh, it’s a sneaky plant. I can do it with any engie as well. Yet your C4 still need a time to activate. It’s cool to sneaky plant, but you need that C4 to explode, heh : you will need your team to defend it. Also, as Phantom, planting the C4 takes 5 seconds : if we consider the normal invisibility time, this is 5 seconds among a 6 seconds invisibility. And I am not even talking about repairing : you repair very slowly, and a bar showing the EV repair progress is available…
If he can force the Defending team to stay a bit more near the objective, I don’t feel like it’s a bad thing. If needed, just make him slightly more visible if he plays an objective or help up someone.[/quote]
If anything I’d say it’d make him more of a team player and useful to go for such plants.
Carrying the Samples is one thing, but stealth repairs and plants would make him pretty sweet. Especially if actions like this made him visible like he is now.
