@ChinChill Just say you are a 12 year old boy.
People Need To Start Using Microphones.
@Clown I’d rather not have to explain myself at all when all I’m doing is pointing out that there’s a bunch of the enemy team around the corner, ya know? It’d be nice to just play and chat but with people still so childish about feminine people playing games, I’d rather not talk and spare myself the annoyance and ire.
I’m just happy for not everyone using microphone even if they have one, at least someone is following the golden rule of not saying anything if having nothing nice to say. Can’t really expect anything else than chaos from pubplays. And it makes it even more awesome when actually tight, communicative and constructive match happens there rarely.
Hope it would give a bit of confidence for shy ones to take part of the comms in case they would like to, once hearing this 20+ year-old’s voice cracking like a broken vinyl occasionally yet not caring a heck for it
Been there, done that and heard so much annoying nowhere going insulting against people for their voice alone, that I’ve taken a habit of reminding insulters to gently separate their head from the rectum they’ve sadly seemed to cement it in.
And in the end of the day since mute toggle takes approximately 2 seconds and whole VOIP disable just 2-5 more, so everyone telling person X to shut up from VOIP for no real reason rocks either IQ and/or eye-hand co-ordination of a seaurchin.
I gotta say, I only have to mute someone like once every 3 hours in US West pubs. And lately, I’m muting the “Try Hard Team Captain” that is 8/21, at the bottom of the scoreboard and is yelling out useless things.
“defuse guys, DEFUSE!!!”
“medic. pause. medic. MEDIC, REVIVE!!!” (get’s gibbed) “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?”
I even had a Fragger last night, in response to me range reviving him from across the second stage of Terminal with Sparks,“HOW ABOUT YOU SHOOT THE FUCKING GUY THAT KILLED ME AND THEN REVIVE ME DUMB ASS!!!”
I can’t stand assholes on voice. I grounded my 16 year old son from the game because he was frustratingly telling a guy to revive him over and over, when it was clear the dude was brand new to the game and was trying to figure out defibs.
I love when people call out locations, I use it for that when important, but mostly it’s just idiots shouting at teammates. Sometimes, if I’m laying down and there’s 3 medics setting up heal stations around my corpse and shooting at the enemy instead of reviving me, I’ll politely ask for a revive over voice coms. Sometimes if I’m playing engineer and there’s 6 teammates repairing the EV with me, I’ll explain to them we only need one engineer on it and they should go try to cover the engineer.
for some reason there is a misconception that multiple people repairing / building etc something makes it faster. This is absolutely incorrect but ive had people in game refuse to believe it and get rather heated about it if pressed
It’s probably because they repair and it goes slow, then an engineer comes and starts repairing and it goes WAY faster. They don’t realize it’s because that guy was an engineer, and not because multiple people were repairing.
I once played a CS:GO match with 3 kids and an adult and I. Noone got insulted, and everyone had a great time.
If anyone insults you for having a high pitch voice, then they’re just assholes. Mute them, and keep playing and enjoying yourself.
If you’re really affected by this abuse, then leave and take a littlebreak, and then join another server. back in League of Legends, I could get so mad sometimes, almost to the point of rage crying (Trust me, it’s like manly crying). Remember, there’s always gonna be assholes around, so just get used to them.
And then you’ll get a deeper voice and be mistaken for someone 6 years older than you really are.
High pitched voices aren’t worthy of insults, they can be extremely annoying though. Just really distracting and can possibly hurt your ears if they have a bad mic.
I use voice but I generally only end up saying something every other game or so, if I see a Phantom sneaking around somewhere or a Fletcher is putting bombs on C4 I’ll let the team know. But generally I’m too lazy, and most of all:
I do only use it for special things like warning for phantom or just asking for heal/repair/plant/ammo.
Since my voice is demotivating players(You know, like similar to the Full Metal Jacket drill instructor :I)
You. I want YOU! in my matches! I need more “You’re so ugly you could be a modern art master piece” and snowballs dialogue in my life!
[quote=“ChunkySpark6;14648”]When I play casual games like Objective around 10-20% of people actually talk.
Then in comp around 5% of people talk. Where in competitive team work is the ultimate goal on winning. This situation has got bad that I will not play competitive with at least two of my other friends cause at least someone will have a microphone on my team. I mean yeah for the people who do not have a microphone they could type like locations etc but nope this does not even happen. Something needs to happen to encourage people to talk. I have no idea how this could happen but it would be good.
Like some people do not talk because there concentrating and trying to hear bullets but like something simple like: ‘‘three guys coming on our left’’ or something like that would be good.

Sure, buy me one and sent it to me and i’ll start using it for sure.
