I could expect this on the console version. Brink is quite a twitchy game, movement is essential, playing on a pad really cripples your movement - it’s not half as fun moving around with a pad.
Without the freedom and speed of mouse movement I can see why people would believe Brink to be like any other shooter.
I’m not trying to start a mouse vs pad debate but Brink was clearly developed with fast aim and movement in mind. Brink’s still okay on the consoles but a lot got lost in translation
Yeh, but its the same with all fps’s, theyre all better player with a mouse. Brinks gameplay suits a mouse just the same as many other fps’s, theres nothing special different comparing brinks pc/console control to other fps’s pc/console control .
Thats got nothing to do with the amount of copies traded in, its the game / devs itself.
Considering the amount of ppl on steam playing in the first week to now and having the option to ‘trade’ their game in it would be traded in just as much as the consoles,
N the fact that many ppl still own the game on steam and hardlh any of them play it, it shows how much ppl either dont want to play it/ dont like it/cant play it due to tech issues/ dont want to support the devs/ dont want to support the game
