PC Freeze

Hi All,
I played this game long time ago and i wanted get back to it.
The problem is ET freeze all the time and it can be after few mins or after few hours.
When It Freeze all i can do is hard shut down cause mouse, alt + ctrl + del or etminimizer not working.
I playing lot’s of games and none have a problem.

I downloaded the game and the patches and installed it to drive D but pc freeze.
I deleted the files in PB folder and install PB again from pbsetup…still freeze
I using windows 7 64bit so I change the capabilities mode to run as XP…still freeze
I uninstalled the game and deleted the folder and installed it again to the defualt folder in drive C…freeze
I deleted the files in PB folder and install PB again from pbsetup…still freeze
I change the capabilities mode to run as XP and as administarator…still freeze
i installed the latest graphic drivers (Nvidia 9600GT) …still freeze
I disabled the protection programs…still freeze
I downloaded old graphic driver from 2009 and before installing it I uninstalled the new one…still freeze

any suggestions what i should try next?

Had this issue in the past as well, updating or downgrading drivers didn’t work. For me it ended with a driver crash which completely crashed my computer. Before my computer crashed, BSOD’s popped up every time I wanted to start my computer, but that all was years ago and maybe it was just my bad luck at that time.

well i tried worked it out for 4 hours with no luck
i even uninstalled all the programs from programs and features.
all of the programs (codecs, players, browswers, protections, itunes IM, ALL)
kinda tierd from it and not sure what to do now, except say good bye for good this time :frowning:

will try again this weekend to cancel some services and install the game again and see if i can think of something.

if someone here got or know someone that got the Nvidia 9600 GT please tell me what driver version you are using for me to try.

I had same problem.My mouse freezed fully,sometimes even keyboard stucked.It was only in ET.So I checked drivers…etc,worked.Only format helped.
