pbweb problem in linux

hey guys,

when i try to update punkbuster in redhat 9 i get an error as follows:
**ERROR: No PunkBuster files found at path /root

pbweb is in the folder that i installed ET into. anybody have any idea of how i could fix this?

Don’t know how it is in linux… but in windows you have to put the pbweb in /pb/ :slight_smile:

sorry, that’s what i meant, pbweb is in the pb folder and that’s in the ET directory.

Update PB manually following the directions @ www.evenbalance.com, pbweb is borking most of the times anyway. Should take you 2min max to update manually :slight_smile:

now restart the etserver, you could write a simple update script to easen things up if needed for multiple servers.

thanks for your responses guys but i was stupid and forgot to run pbweb from the pb directory. i had to reinstall pbweb and it worked fine.
