Ok so me and my friends have problems with PB on ET. My problem is “Losing Key Packets”.
When i join server, i can play the whole map, but when the map changes, whole computers freezes. Other players have said there’s message “Tussu losing key packets” and PB kicks out. I have tried changing cl_maxpackets values, but doesn’t help any, no matter what value i give. I also tried to shut down every unnecessary program (irc, msn) when i go play, but also didn’t help any. It worked fine for 2 years, then it suddenly hit me with that prob. I tried reinstall and even format computer, but once again, didn’t help. My PB is updated, and i tried with old version too once, same result.
My friend’s problem: Game Integrity #20006.
He bought new computer, had exactly same settings and programs on this new computer, as he had on the old one, but for some reason PB kicks him out of server everytime he plays. He has tried to update PB in million different ways, every time for a new clean install. ET worked perfectly on his old computer. Difference is in the new computer parts: He used to have Radeon 9800se gfx card on his old computer, now he has Nvidia Geforce 7900GT. He has updated drivers and etc, nothing should be wrong, but for some reason PB doesn’t like that computer.
Someone said once that #20006 vialation is wallhack or some sort. I can assure he doesn’t have, nor have ever tried anything like that.
I’m sorry for posting PB related questions on here, but this is about last place where i have asked help. My friend tried some “PB Ticket reserve” thing on their site, it took 2 months to get reply, and they didn’t tell anything usefull/new information. It seems PB crew are not willing to help, so that’s why i’m asking here.
Those problems broke our clanprojects, right on the moment we were raising fast. That’s why we desperately want to get these problems out of our way to the game. Thanks in advance for help.
