Can anyone help my server is a jaymod server i had pb working on it, now it doesnt seem to want to work at all.
Ive tried the following in the cfg and in the game through rcon but nothing happens.
/pb_sv_enable
/pb_sv_update
/sv_punkbuster “1”
/sv_punkbuster 1
But still nothing happens…Would be greatfull if someone can help on this as im getting fed up of lame hackers. :banghead:
put “+set sv_punkbuster 1” on your command line, PB cannot be enabled once the server is running.
If you wrote to console /pb_sv_enable …what did console print?
Yes, i can be enabled when you type to server console(or using rcon) /pb_sv_enable and server don’t need to restart but if you want to disable PB you must restart server.

Ok as you can see ive done /pb_sv_enable and update. But it still doesnt work :banghead: :banghead:
That screenshot shows you enabling a PB server on your client. What exactly is it that you are trying to do, and what precisely is it that “doesn’t work”? Be specific, please.

The Server does not show up as pb protected in the server list or the raw server info.
Also there is no pb sign on the loading screen so therefore shows the server as nor pb protected. If possiable could someone tell me exactly what and were to write the command to enable pb in my cfg.Im at a total loss with this now. :banghead:

that’s the way to do it, not through console[/quote]
pb_sv_enable (on the server console or rcon, obviously) should work when the server is running, although it has been known to cause crashes.
Also, it is possible that PB is not actually installed.
Sorry i misunderstood you the server is dedicated. When you said host thats what i thought you ment.
