Paul Wedgwood to Deliver Keynote Speech at Rezzed 2012

Paul Wedgwood will be giving the keynote speech at Rezzed, a brand-new event for PC and indie games presented by Eurogamer and Rock, Paper, Shotgun. Titled “Independent, or Bust!”, Paul’s keynote will shine an intensely bright spotlight of knowledge on Splash Damage’s past, present, and future. Among other things, we’ll learn how Splash has succeeded for over a decade without running into trouble, and what you can expect from our upcoming projects including the recently announced RAD Soldiers.

Rezzed takes place Friday 6th - Saturday 7th July at the Brighton Centre in Brighton, England. Paul’s keynote is scheduled for Saturday and there’s plenty of tickets still available at the time of writing. Wow, we should make like a question list for Locki at Rezzed 2012. Paul Wedgwood will chose the best question and give the winner a bag full of oranges with the Splash Damage Logo painted on them.

Might try and go to this on Saturday to catch Paul and Introversion. Shame Carmageddon is on the Friday and I’m not sure when the Project Zomboid guys are doing their talk.

:frowning: I couldn’t make it. Well I could have but needed to make a boring, adult, family decision not to spend the money on one day out for myself. Hopefully this proves a success and there are more shows open to the public with talks and such.

Wonder what the special SD surprise is? RAD coupons or some info on the PC game?

I assume he didn’t announce anything specific. Hope to see a write-up. Molyneux is certainly getting a lot of attention from this show.

Molyneux is awesome because he’s simply not afraid of trying something new, different or just plain odd. So glad he go out from the clutch of Microsoft’s claws.

And yes, would be great if RPS releases the talks on video at some point.

Apparently just screenshots of rad soldiers, and mentioning they were working on a pc browser game, as well as a console AAA title. Dont know whether the browser bit is accurate though.
