A new story entry has been added:
[drupal=388]Paul Wedgwood interviewed on GamesIndustry.biz[/drupal]

GamesIndustry·biz cornered Splash Damage owner Paul ‘Locki’ Wedgwood at GameCity Nottingham late last year and somehow managed to trick him into answering a few choice questions. While a large part of the resulting interview focuses on the way game reviews work (or not, rather), Paul also discusses breaking into the industry by going the modding route, Splash Damage’s relationship with Bethesda, and the future of multiplayer-only games. If you would like to know more, we strongly recommend diving headfirst into the full piece on GamesIndustry.biz.

lacks info about the new game! :smiley:

also answers my question about the launch window and why i haven’t seen any ads about quake wars when it came out unless i searched for it. and also why i haven’t received any info mails about quake wars although i registered on the website. conclusion: activision sucks. and they’re doing the same now with wolfenstein. i have no other explanation, especially when i look at some of the screenshots which someone seems to have made and sent to press without even checking them. also the registration database for wolfenstein seems to be the same as for quake wars as i got the message that i’m already registered although i never did. hence i highly doubt that i’ll get any info about the game from atvi either.

i hope this becomes better with the new partnership.

that was a good interview, thanks for posting it. i always appreciate the honesty that he gives in his answers - you all have a great boss :stuck_out_tongue: even if he isnt announcing the new game title :stroggtapir: and release date :stuck_out_tongue:

Interesting… He’s right, releasing one big game is better than 50 small…

Same thing happened to me. I guess I’m in the database twice now with two different email addresses. Seems a bit off to me. I even tried to contact the support email address they provided in the registration email and it bounced back as undeliverable. Come on, that’s no way to run things. :\

To the Splash Damage team- I’m really happy to hear such great stuff of your new partnership. I look forward to the next prodigious creation you fuse together and spring upon us!

As always, an awesome interview that says it like it is… and of course no teaser info about the new game! It’s nice to be reminded that Splash Towers is in good hands :slight_smile:
