Does patching the game to version 1.5 requires any previous patches? Help!

No it does not as far as I know, but the automatic patching still works for me (during game install).

Why are so there so many new people playing QW? I tried it yesterday and nothings changed… (still lag based aim/movement and RNG firefights)
