Patch 1.02 problems

The new features of the patch is very rocky, but there is a backside to everything.
Just wanted to know if more people experiensed the 2 problems I got after the patch.
1/ My “special weapon 3” button does not work anymore when playing Medic, CovertOps and FieldOps :eek2: I did try to use other buttons also but it does not work :bored: (It works fine as an Engineer :clap: )
2/ After map is changed in campaign me and some others were thrown out to spec :???: and had to rejoin our team (if we were fast enough)

Anyone else with these probs?

Me too. My first thought was that this is a server setting, but it happend to me on all 1.02 servers.

Another thing is that the “Weapon Drop bug” seems to gone worse. From time to time you drop a weapon out of no where. You can pick it up, resulting in one additional ammo clip.

noticed this only once in about 600 games played, so i don’t think its a big issue

This happens to me now once every 5 rounds or so. Before it was once in 20-30 rounds.

I’m not sure if my connection is to blame but since 1.02 it takes me a lot longer to connect to servers. Also after a few rounds the game dosen’t load the maps properly & I have to quit. I was getting disconnected randomly by punkbuster servers but I updated manually & that problem is solved. All this since I installed the patch but I think it might be my connection as no one else seems to have these problems.

And was it splashdamage or Activision who created the patch? Been away from PC didnt know it was released as I was in the middle of no where for the past 3 days :slight_smile:

The weapon drop thing happens when someone disconnects. their weapon drops in front of a random teammate. If the new patch is dropping people more often, more guns drop.

I dunno what you peeps are talking about, i never experience problems like this. Cheaters? Never seen a real one. Weapons dropping? Never seen it. Connection problems? Never had some. Get trown back at spec? Never sawn this before. I really don’t understand why everyone keeps complaining. Man, sd releases a free game, some guys get some “damn a weapon drops out of nowhere, now i got a extra clip” shit, what’s so bad about that?? Noone permits you to play this game, so go complaining about Enemy Territory to you’re mom or something and start playing!
